I didn't have time yet to read all the logs but here is my input: From what I know, Conquest is running their events non-profit - Sharkbrew Isn't, not from events, but in general. You are making a buck. If Sharkbrew's mission is truly to enhance the pure clanning scene why would you need a fee from Event hoster to advertise their events? If i were to host a private miniwar cup, would i have to pay you 50m to post the topic? Kinda same thing how your mods asked me to pay a fee for them to solve some scamming issues, it's a goddamn community. And if things still are like they are, aren't the "Head" mods getting paid for their work already?

I hope to work with you guys in the future. I support the community and I want to see growth and entertainment from both parties. I feel working with conquest is a step in the right direction, however both parties up to know have lacked communication. As a whole no offence to sharkbrew mods, yes your last rvb community event was succesful.. 5 MONTHS AGO, Conquest events have already organized events which you's haven't engaging the community. I personally believe that community events and acting upon feedback given several months ago is NOT quick enough progress to moving the community in the right direction. Also the lack of engagement from clans towards the events, or even clans acting broccolied (refer to the last 2v2 fullout) has to stop. I agree with slush referring back our conversation that Conquest should advertise sharkbrew in their next event in good faith, to re-pay the backstabbing. Moving forward from this I feel working hand in hand with a cause like this is ONLY GOOD for the scene. As a whole a community united is better than one seperated, I hope I'm able to help in uniting two good causes, and giving it the backing it needs

I was able to help them out before they hosted their last two events. They had their own gist but I was able to help them pan out for possible conflicts and some rules to assist. Most of my conversations with their group were made over voice. I am happy to hear their event came out to be successful. It's sad to see that they're trying to discredit some of the staff especially when I spent a fair bit of my time to assist with their guidelines.

Good morning, I hope all of you are having a good day so far, I am happy to finally be able to let all of you know, we're able to do payouts once again. Last time, we were able to give payouts to our events such as COTM/WCOTM. It has occurred to me, some of you don't like how we have focused into investing in our systems such as COTM & WCOTM. Would you want us to invest more into tournaments and less into the systems? The previous payouts were 10m into COTM and 10m into WCOTM. We are planning to do the same, if you would want us to continue investing into these two systems. I will be announcing the extension of the BrewCup which will entail to prep tournament brackets. The signups will take place next week. This event will ring around 50m-100m+, the event will partially come out of own pockets. What do you guys want overall? A reminder, our signups for Mini BrewCup will be closing on the 3rd of January The sign-up application is on this topic ^.

I would say work on accommodating the community and bringing sharkbrew back from the dead. Bring the clans back to the site and stop targeting certain ones that mods arent in/dislike. Then you'll start to get more active and have popular promising events instead of the same 3-4 clans entering boring tournys and having no variation.

Does sharkbrew really bring in new blood to the community? Just imagine if Conquest could expand their platform on Twitch and get a huge following, then that would definitely bring more exposure to the pure community then this site does imo. But props to Conquest who ran a successful pure event without needing a long period of time to organize or ask for advertisement money to host things. Keep building your brand and you will see it pay off in the long run even if other competitors are trying to slow you down.

I would like to see the money go into both. Tournies for the awards. Systems wise not really into the reward (Just only do gfx thing) but into improving them. Wcotm for right now is a pretty dead award.

You guys need to really look into fixing the system rules before you can give out payments for winners in good conscious. COTM Problems: "Farming" points from the same clan or lower tier clans WCOTM Problems: Spam posts with a 10 man team killing one guy at rev caves or lavas. COTM is easy to fix, you need to setup like a bracket for all the clans so that the clans vs each under same opts, and clans face each other so the winner is truly the best matched opts. WCOTM you need to limit the number per day, and require that a fight occurs with another team or clan in the wilderness. WCOTM is activity but spam posts don't show activity.

A big issue on this is that people are now seeing their events as direct competition to ours which is something I actually spoke to Louis briefly about. I personally don't mind having them around as it is refreshing seeing something new. As long as the community understands it isn't a rivalry or anything it could work out. We are two seperate groups trying to correlate for 1 community. We both want the best for it regardless of our way to work on it. To put it into perspective, they offered 30m for their 6v6 tournament which is great tbh, but people are now expecting a cash prize for Sharkbrew's 6v6 which at the moment like I answered earlier, I don't have. I don't get paid to make tournaments either lol. If I was to invest a large amount of money or use Sharkbrew's resources on this 6v6 tournament just to screw them up and in a non-realistic way consistently maintain high cash awards throughout the year. Would this make their events less appealing in the long run if they can't match Sharkbrew's? People need to realize that this isn't a competition of who can host the best event and give out the best cash awards. These are two different groups of people working on giving action to a relatively dull scene.

The server hosting for Sharkbrew sets me back around $225 a month. The pserver/gold ads are sporadic at best. Majority of the funds accumulated($400++) will be going into a huge project to be launched later this year. If hosting and running a pure community site was so profitable as you make it out to be, every single tom dick harry would be doing it. If Louis was serious about making the community site better, he would be working with us, not trying to slander a site that has-significantly- contributed to the growth of the pure community as a whole. Compare the activity of Sharkbrew/Pure clans vs Zybez/Main clans. You are so blinded by the non profit rhetoric that you fail to see that his project is unsustainable in the long run without external help or unless he has some other ulterior motive- that we offered and he proceeded to chew our hand off.

Let's set the record straight, Zoom is brown sticky stuff, Zen is brown sticky stuff, Ob is just a flatout joke. Zoom hasn't been seen in the wild for weeks, so when you finally man up then you can say something, instead of hiding at Clw. Zen comes out a few times a week, gets cleared by us a few times and logs out. Ob was by themselves in a bracket for months until Fs comes along, who's gonna be smacking Warbow's ugly ass up. Like who competes against them self LOL? Everyone knows what Blitz can do, so sit back and enjoy the ride until we close you out like we did FH. ~ Blitzkrieg

Today we went out as 37 purple abdullahs later peaking at 43 in teamspeak. First 20 minutes of the trip were typical. Waiting in multi for other clans to come out. Once BT came out we found them at 18 ports and cleared them to 0 without losing a single member. (keep talking brown sticky stuff btw) Later on BT suicided trying to fight us at CA and we cleared them yet again down to 0 (BT dead.) After BT ended with 19 people on teamspeak (started with 32) we crashed Doom and FS fighting at Corp hill. they all telied out and fs ended their trip. Vid: Pictures:

Sharkbrew originally had a gentlemen's agreement with Conquest with regards to mutual advertising. Unfortunately the deal fell through and we parted ways amicably- or so I thought. So for the sake of transparency and to clear the air around this situation, I will be disclosing the full logs that went on between me and one of the founders of Conquest.
