Edit: We will be having live photography coming soon. Earlier this week, we received intel of a cluster that was going down today. Due to COVID-19 and the whole quarantine situation, we thought it would be nostalgic and fun to gather up the boys and head out to see what was popping in the scene. After three days of getting the gang back together, we managed to muster up a solid 60 Downfallians for a trip down memory lane. With many new clans around, there was one particular clan that struck out - The Rising. They've always been a decent opponent for action so the target was set. However, hearing Downfall was coming must have struck fear into TR.. Although we were hoping for a clean 1v1 while the rest of the cluster dukes it out - The Rising formed an alliance. Quite an embarrassing and pathetic move given that it was suppose to be a "cluster." Their reasoning? To be able to beat Downfall atleast ONCE in their clan's entire existence. Downfall Starting: The Rising & Alliance Starting: (LATER GAINING TO 172) TR: 50 ON TS ALLIANCE: 99 ON "Best Teams" DISC | 100 in "Ur Eazy" CC Although majority of our members haven't touched the game in years, or that our callers haven't called in years, or that over 85% of our boys were returning through canoe, or that we were facing over 170 people, it ALMOST seemed like The Rising's dream of ever beating us were to come true. After fearlessly rushing, the fight briefly broke into 2 sections: Arroz(?) vs TR's Alliance Clans (honestly too many to name and don't know any of them) - leaving The Rising in a clean 1v1 against us. It took us about two piles to shake off the rust and immediately started transitioning through them like we never left. They NEVER could and NEVER will be able to compete with us no matter how much they practice. Here's an example of what happens in a clean battle (shoutout to TR for the pic btw - got it from their topic): After getting farmed for about 15 minutes or so, it was CLEAR that there was no possible way they would be able to compete with us on even numbers. Next plan? TR forced PeTeR to mass up Vitality to take care of Arroz. Why? So that their 172 man alliance (not including Vit) would all be able to focus Downfall. Any clan in our position at this point would've folded - not us. Despite being rusty, our organization still shined. We moved the fight west to get our returners quicker while prolonging theirs and immediately went to work. Despite being outnumbered 1:3 and this "cluster" turning into everyone versus Downfall - it was still clear that we were never going to let up and their efforts were worthless. After about an hour or so of fighting here still outnumbered 1v3, we received word the Reign of Terror were logging in - which initiated our contingency plan. We did a quick bait and switch by letting The Rising get rushed by ROT - then immediately logging back in and clearing out the alliance followed by chasing The Rising out of the wilderness.
