  1. There are some quality shooters over at Adv, and they wanted another F2P CWA with the mighty Tempest seamen. Recent weeks have seen our quality take a big jump in improvement, so we were eager to put ourselves to the test against them. Brought lots of energy to the fight and many people eager to battle. Have to say that it was probably one of the best performances I'd seen from Tempest in CWA, everyone was really engaged with switches and tanking set us apart today. Thanks for the fight today Adversity and have a happy holiday break! Vanuckle POV:
  2. Tempest vs Ancient Fury As always Ancient Fury will step up to the plate offering us some highly competitive fights. On this fine Thursday, we agreed with AF for 3 rounds of first to 50 CWA. Each round was extremely close, oftentimes the lead shifting between clans. However, in the end, Tempest would manage to secure a clean sweeping victory. Thanks for the matches AF and well done on performance Tempest. Round 1 Tempest 50 Ancient Fury 46 Round 2 Tempest 50 Ancient Fury 49 Round 3 Tempest 50 Ancient Fury 41
  3. We've had a couple of fights recently in Clan Wars, against all the usual suspects. It's been a long time since we had a win against Rev in CWA, so we were determined to put our best foot forward. We had our best squad of warriors fall in behind Dr. Glen himself, and we marched to battle shimmering in our gilded hide armour. We matched our numbers with Rev and then set off to first battle. Rev are regularly a challenge and it showed in the first round. They rushed hard off the start and caught us off guard. Although we kept it as close as possible, they went on to win the fight. 50-47 (rev victory) With a little higher numbers there was some better KO power in this round. We had much tighter snares in this round, leading to more efficient KO's as we got to grips with tanking and warmed up a little better. This round was Tempest as its finest, epitomized by Glen going off like we hadn't heard him before. Great overall performance led us to getting the solid victory. 50-40 (tempest victory) Great combo calling from Tim and Glen led to an extremely competitive fight between us. As it went on, the lead switched back and forth, before eventually we took the lead in the mid 30s and never looked back. Once again the Tempest tanking and dragging off proved very effective and we were able to secure the victory and the overall victory in the fight, 2-1. 50-44 (tempest victory) Thanks as always to Rev for the competitive battles. Clearly from the result it could have gone either way but we were happy to get our first win in a long, long time against them. Look forward to doing it again.
  4. Tempest vs Ancient Fury We setup a F2P CWA fight vs Ancient Fury knowing they always provide a competitive challenge. As always they didn't disappoint, but with some great calling and amazing tanks, we were able to take this one. Thanks for the fight Ancient Fury, looking forward to the next one. Won 50-43 Won 50-46 Lost 47-50
  5. WL asked us for a longer prepped fight for their anniversary, and knowing these F2P wilderness clusters can be some of the most fun, we agreed and starting prepping our warriors for battle. Day of the fight came around and we were well organized, pulling 72 for the start, later peaking at 85. The fight started between WL and us at West Tree and immediately the battle was heated. WL had a huge pull to almost match ours, so things were fierce right off the hop. We went back and forth for about 25 minutes. The action was so hot that ~50 RoT members were being charged $99USD for the PPV of the fight on their meds, too afraid to dip their toes in and join the fun cluster we had scheduled just for them. While both clans had high spam, with Tim there, the fight was going very well for us. We transitioned from pile to pile, catching magers and rangers who were outside the clump and easy pickings. Eventually we just started to feel pity for RoT's viewing party. After they killed Brian's spare, we gave them the ol' one-two and chased them towards mossies, before cutting back and immediately resuming at RDG. By this time, we had gained up to 80+ and cut down ~20 for WL to even the numbers. We formed a line and snared the fallin RoT carried around west rocks over and over again. Meanwhile, the cluster continued untouched as they worked out their next strategy. Hearing the action was going on, Rev massed up a few friends and fought RoT nearby at spiders with our AC unit, effectively clearing them over and over again as WL / Tempest scrapped at RDG. The 1.5 hour cap was concluding and so we took our fall in and got our ending pics completed untouched. There were no snipers or barrages to hit us because there simply were no RoT left on the battlefield to do damage! Thanks for the fun action out there, happy anniversary WL, and hope there are even more clans at the next one!
