Hey Guys, Runescape crossed my mind the other day so I thought I would check in and see how things are. Its great to see that the pure world isn't dead and things still appear to be active. I think its been around 6-8 years since Carnage closed (wow!). I used to love the drama especially in the MPC division. I specifically remember DV, IR, C and a lot more clans trading blows every day in the wilderness... Then having to put our differences aside to combat DP and their 100 pulls haha. Or CPR stepping up to the plate in the P2P arena. Our most intense rivalry. Even teaming up with Walli from FOE and the leadership from MM to basically call in hits on bigger clans like TLP, FI, EOP etc... Good times... Hows the pure world now? Are things still like the old days in terms of wilderness run ins and heated clan rivalries? (fuck you IR lmao). Is multi PKING still a thing? What about midweek wilderness fights etc? Are people like Walli from FOE, Will/hotkey and Zo from IR any of the old school CP/EOP/FI/MM about? Would love to know how things have evolved. Also these newer clans like DOOM etc, what old school clans have they been formed from?

Hi guys. so basically the question what is your motivation for still clanning? Around the 2007-2010 (cant remember) I founded and led a p2p clan called Carnage I hated CW and loved the wilderness so the clan kinda reflected that. (the real one not the team you see today) My motivation to clan was the competition and fun that came with it. There were so many clans so it was impossible not to get action with all clans in that period if you went more than 20 mins without a fight the trip was boring. Lets be honest in this era there is little to no action on trips. Ive been to a trip where a hpc clan has experienced a 5minute fight over a 2 hour pk trip and the weirdest thing was that barely any members cared. For most other clans the weekend topics say the same but are just jazzed up to look like it was fun when really it was 80% downtime 20% action. So if its not for the action as most of you must go into trips knowing nothing is going to happen, why do you clan? Would be interesting to here from old and new guys alike

LPCs, the real LPCs (only a handful of em) have WAY more action than HPCs. Who the hell would want to strive to be HPC?! The entire HPC scene is based off of sharkbrew topics and over thinking. Hence why you guys spend entire trips in single and in lobbies. Like some of you go an hour in singles getting around 10 minutes of action. HPC need other HPCs clans to survive as they never just pk. LPC clans can have a trip anytime and get action. On the other hand you have LPCs and even masser clans having way more action in 1 hour than the entire HPC scene combined lol. Clans like choatic have more trips a week than some HPC clans have in a month.
