  1. Ok but I guess when FOE are on a mid-week and IR/EOP/APEX all log in surrounding FOE at the same time; that's just luck as they're all hunting FOE with no co-ordination in that all. People will try to spin everything they want - it's pointless, especially on a website like this where nobody actually listens.
  2. What about if a clan has an arranged PKRI but the defending clan gets hit by a third party before the initial clan that was supposed to hit it is able to? So for example; Clan A vs Clan B arrange a fight but it is is yet to start but Clan A is defending. Clan C rushes in and hit A and it turns into a 1 vs 1. Clan B was too slow to hit Clan A but rushes in and focuses soley on Clan C, making it a 2 vs 1. Surely that's 'teaming' and if it happens regularly you could define it as an 'alliance?'
  3. An idea for when the tourny world comes out.
  4. I guess it's down to opinion but the reason why I believe that's the case, is that those pre-eoc needed to adapt to a number of updates that completely changed the game/clanning landscape (dung, summoning, turmoil, clan capes, kdr trackers) and this created new challenges that they needed to overcome. This hasn't necessarily been the case in OSRS where Jagex refrain from these drastic updates to keep things consistent, so although new guys in the community may be better at what they do now - they haven't had to drastically mix things up or adapt to change. ie. People knew how to call scim pushes back them but had to pick their moments. They didn't have the stats that people had nowadays, so had to rely on holding territory and picking people off to gain a numerical advantage to actually find the chance to push. This did change when bots became widely available and almost everyone had maxed pures - Jagex also introduced corrupt weapons into F2P which meant that melee was even more useful against 20/30 defence armours and that's when clans started to push more. However, from what I've seen clanning strategy in the last 5 years or so, hasn't changed too much (especially in f2p), people have only really hidden behind return spots when things aren't going their way, rather than mixing strategies up. Let me know if you think different. It's no surprise that even in the 'legacy' clans today, people will always highlight their best leaders as those from pre-eoc (Walli/Goop/Solo/Drunk - let alone Speshls/13th). However, that isn't to say that good leaders haven't had to do the same in OSRS (just those recognised in OSRS probably played pre-eoc too, example Adhi, I guess you could now put Titans/Zo on that list if needed).
  5. Depends how much weight you put on pre-eoc and osrs. Personally, I think achievements pre-eoc outweigh that of osrs as the quality/competition was better. 1) MM/FOE 2) - 3) EOP - I'm sure people will make a case for them being #1 but imo, they never did it back when it mattered in both servers. Sure they had long stints as #1 f2p but FOE/MM were always competitive in F2P. EOP, however, couldn't consistently touch FOE/MM in P2P other than odd trips. 4) CP/TLP/FI - All clans had their highs and lows; some decades ago, some in the last three years but all had lasting impacts on the community. 5) 6) 7) -GAP- 8) IR - I'd probably only put them here as the same ranks pre-eoc are those that are here now and have shown they're able to do ok in multiple generations in both servers. Loads of clans probably deserve 'honourable' mentions but no point doing that as very few nowadays will remember those clans. My view from 08 - 12 and then an on/off experience from 2012.
  6. Wasn't there but looked good, grats!
  7. Fair play to IR, actually gave us a really good fight.
  8. Heard they're still running laps around chaos alter and corp.
