    This would be pretty tough to do though.

    You know the marketting budget of tech companys for example MSI is 200-300 thousand $'s as they are able to claim such things off their tax? It seems my words weren't even read by many & as a result the commentors have proven points that they haven't even read, Gambling companys like Pokerstars & 888poker are able to offer millions in promotions and marketting as they claim it off tax. The same goes for big company that donate millions to charitys just to claim it off their tax, not to mention possible back handers.. anyway i'll put my knowledge and passion into a community/topic that can actually read & conceptualise.

    real talk tho, they could make jcup into an esport event like dmm, or a ranked ladder in clans or w/e but we all been asking for years, don't see any sudden spark of motivation from jagex hq

    As in Jagex have & are trying to walk down this path.

    I mean you say that but my man @Ari is leading a clan that have profited like 60k off this game (don't know specific number, but he posted it recently)

    CAN WE HELP SHAPE OSRS INTO A VIABLE ESPORTS SCENE HOWEVER SMALL.

     

    Aside from the DDOSING problem shown in the two PVP cups Jagex has held previously, if you the scene was able to organize itself & get rid of the toxicity and propaganda; It might help Jagex to pump some prize money/actually start developing some kind of quote on quote "ESPORT scene" for this game. How can anyone at a Jagex meeting bring up this website or the clanning scene in general without someone saying "You know what people are right about the clanning scene & pure scene in general, they are cancerous individuals" Archie mentioned on a livestream that they plan to do some kind of 1v1 elo system with built in gear and preset styles "main brid, pure brid ect" so they are putting some amount of energy into it. ROT and other clans that DDOS are literally ruining any chance of this game having a pro scene. 

    If we set up a professional well managed scene with no propaganda and BANNING clans from competing officially if they break certain rules "BRINGING MAINS ECT" that would help Jagex see how serious the community is.  I'M SURE ALMOST EVERYONE HERE WOULD LOVE TO BE ABLE TO EARN SOME KIND OF MONEY FROM THIS GAME WITHOUT (SCAMMING,DDOSING & BOTTING) FOR BEING GOOD AT PKING (NOT TALKING ABOUT RISK FIGHTS, BUT THAT IS THE ONLY THING THAT SPRINGS TO MIND) 

    If we can set up a regulated scene that some of us dream of WITHOUT jagex's help then it doesn't take a stretch of the imagination to see Jagex jumping on the bandwagon.

    THIS GAME HAS SUCH A STEEP LEARNING CURVE FOR NEW PLAYERS, WE NEED TO INSPIRE PEOPLE TO JOIN OR REJOIN THE SCENE & HELP NEW PLAYERS TO GET INTO IT.

    If someone doesn't want to accept your fullout or clanwar or pkri don't shame them publicly.. so much of this community is about EGO, the majority of us are 20+ who played this game when we we're young, majority of the legends have left. Mayhem Makers is closed, Bonesaw quit years ago, SV turned into main clain & fizzled out (no offence) ect ect 

    For this to work once we have a clean format it only takes one sponsor (One marketing agent from one company to fund this scene & it's a START) but they won't if it's evidently cancer as it  will damage their brand more than it will do it good. for this to work we need someone with organizational experience someone who has no affiliation to any clan, we could even as a group pitch in and hire someone to run this, if the pure community put in maybe 1 or 2$'s each that's a yearly salary for someone with ESL tourney experience or the like

    We all play this game for the same reasons despite our differences (FUN,SOCIAL,TO WIN,TO GET BETTER, TO MAKE MONEY?!, TO LEAD,TO SERVE  ect)

    Also I think audio leaking a clan after they loose a trip is very cancerous, do you think that inspires people to call? most of this community are social inept & or massive cannabis or other drug users we need to come together and push otherwise all we have done is cause yet more negative in this already dark world

    Who actually wants to come together and stop the kanker nonsense and push this game as an esport? Clans like ROT are hurting the scene so much with their desperation to win. 

    IF YOUR GOING TO COMMENT SAYING THIS WILL NEVER WORK ECT THEN YOU AREN'T EVEN WILLING TO TRY & ARE INTENTIONALLY OR UNINTENTIONALLY CARRYING ON THE SAME BEHAVIOR I'M TALKING ABOUT. WE ALL DEDICATE SO MUCH TIME TO THIS GAME.. let's look at BLIZZARDS HEROES OF THE STORM, small game not played by many but has a pro scene & players at the top make a nice wage (source, IRL FRIEND is TEAM DIGNITAS SNITCH)

    A lot of DMM players question how long the Dead man mode tourney will last as they are aware of this, Jagex don't acknowledge this community  as it stands, when I last checked Mod Sween had made no posts on this site @Mod Sween some insight would be great brother I know you have a clanning past & I really like the new commentator you got for the DMMT actually has clanning & calling experience whoever hired him deserves a promotion.(no f2p TB ect ect)

    I was indeed, Envy had a lot of 85 combats that's correct, majority of your mains were higher levels (90+). But your callers were saying "make sure your main is on a pure" & the like. Not here to stir the pot, you guys's flame war will inventively continue regardless. I only comment here in the hope of making this scene less cancerous.
