There were a lot of issues that didn't lead to a conducive environment between the teams and the tournament hosts. After going through with team leaders, I have concluded that while paige was a victim of excessive personal flame, however some of it were direct response to her mismanagement of the tournament. Team leaders isolated the various unprovoked events and have dealt with them accordingly: Spark has been booted from his team Blissful apologized If teams/clans are found to have booted members in their roster, we will automatically DQ the entire clan/team from the tournament. The tournament will now resume under ML lock

A couple of weeks ago, sharkbrew quarterbacked a clanbrew tournament with the goal of maintaining activity in the clan wars arena. Unfortunately throughout the tournament period, @Kimhad been approached by members of the tournament demanding that she handle the various tournament issues: team members being subbed midway into the tournament rules not being enforced equally: Reason why they were getting DQ'd and what was defined as irl flame DQ for certain team members No DQ for others: excessive personal attacks towards tournament hosts: Dozens of messages in SB discord attacking Paige and her family and non administrative parties affecting integrity of the tournament: tournament members being baited in dms by non-staff members It is unfortunate that while clanbrew originally hosted this tournament, they didn't even get a mention in dull's sig tournament members being privy to tournament rank decisions -------------------------------------------------------------- As a result of the aforementioned shitshow, I have demoted the following ranks: Paige - leaking staff logs to members of the community Wouxi - For creating the fake victory signature for dull to enable him to mock other tournament members. Award concept is similar to our end of the year award to spite the GFXER. Additionally, I will personally be taking charge of this tournament from now onward With the release of the latest announcement from clanbrew ranks, they have decided to terminate the tournament midway leaving quite a lot of unhappy tournament participants who are asking Sharkbrew to take over. Unfortunately this issue is not quite so straightforward as there are creases we have to iron out before we can take over fully: Some of clanbrew's tournament rules may appear excessive however we could see that their original aim was to create a healthier tournament that didn't reek of toxicity. January 14th, Sharkbrew came together for the first of many incredible community based events this year: North America vs Europe. With some heavy debate on who actually won the last NA vs EU event both sides came ready to fight for glory within the pure community, and bragging rights that will last until the next event occurs. With Europe dominating Round 1, North America came in undeterred and motivated Round 2. With some good tanking and legendary calling from PX Tyler, Tyendinaga, and Quode, North America battled their way to victory Round 2 to tie the score up 1-1. Round 3 was the deciding match and North America and Europe were both determined to leave the arena victorious. North America through some more good tanking, a stellar wrap, and great calling ended up dominating Round 3 to reign victorious! Shout-out to everybody who made this event and took it seriously, the callers for each side (@Quode, PX Tyler, and @Tyendinagaas well as @nawe, UTC, and Jokuyurt for taking time out of their day to make this happen) as well as all the other Sharkbrew staff members who helped organize this event. As a staff the Sharkbrew team is super happy with the outcome and are excited to host another one. "Battle of the Countries" The Americas vs Europe 2022 Hosted By @Obli& Sharkbrew Staff. This event was voted on through polls within the Forums and Discord. Holidays are around the corner. My favorite time of year for clanning is seeing events related to holidays being set up. Some of you may have never experienced a high-op snowball fight, so I posted some examples at the bottom of how one is conducted and the different opts in all of the videos. Last Clan/Team Standing FFA in the Wilderness. We would have bots scattered around the area of the fight to conclude the winner. There is a high chance that clan leaders may not want to partake, but, if the community wants to take part in events. Any of them can be set up similar to EU Vs USA. Snowball Fights originate from Pre-EOC!

Approximately 2 months ago we have started a 25 defence miniwar tournament (Rash and I). We are very happy that most of the clans and teams have signed up for this tournament, 14 teams to be precise. Some more invested than others, but looking back we think that it was good action for the teams that participated and we will be organising more events in the future. The winners of this tournament are Team K.O!!! They have managed to go undefeated from start till end and thus emerged as the victors. Very impressive! Pure Brewcup 2020 This year is the inauguration of first annual brewcup tournament. As decided by the community, this year's server fight type is F2P. Rules Fight type: F2P 1-25 def accounts & 1 def gear Best out of 3, Each clan will attack and defend one round each with one PKRI Matched - sit to 40 min Full round robin - Everyone has to fight everyone Clans earn 1 point for every round won or forfeited by their opponents To mitigate issues addressed by @nawe, winning each prep will earn an additional 0.5 points Clan with highest number of points wins the tournament There will be a tiebreaker if 2 or more clans have the same number of point Clans will be assigned 2 fights per week and can fight at their own convenience If both clans cannot fight, we will set a default time and day Default time: After Saturday weekend trip Any shenanigans will be dealt with accordingly, but we hope clans can respect their opponents Due to the visibility and higher profile of this tournament, we expect all clans to ensure that their member IPs have been changed and that they have a DDOS'd protected VOIP software before each events Any infringement of the rules will result in instant forfeit and round awarded to their opponent Equipment 1 def gear only Match Ups Clans are free to schedule fights at their own convenience. You must provide a memberlist of your participants (None of your members may multi-team in this tournament). A minium list of 7 players, which you must stick to. Rules - Each team will fight each in a best of 5 rounds all pkri - ITEMS NOT ALLOWED: The new staffs, Rapier, Kodai, venom, dspear, blade of saeldor, halberds, inq mace. - Will be using a league table, updated daily.
