On July the 3rd, ranks of Sharkbrew & representatives of various xLpcs gathered on TS for a small meeting which lasted for an hour or so.

We agreed on the following:

1) Combat cap of 70 (Ascent asked for a cb 65 cap), while the 65 should stay the average ish in the memberlist.

2) No overheads in clan wars

3) Massing for trips at 4pm est, start at 4:30pm.

So, as some of you have already noticed, we've decided to give xLpcs a chance at the WCOTM, in the hope of promoting wilderness & eventually clan wars activity amongst the lilguys. If everything goes by the plan, we'd also love to host a xLpc version of the RvB, probably 2v2.

Currently we're waiting for all xLpc's to assign clan ambassadors, finish their memberlists & recruitment topics so we could open the WCOTM tracker.

Clans who hasn't met the requirements for the WCOTM:

All suggestions regarding the point system, guidelines & rules are more than welcome.

So punishing clans who break the rules then? or letting them get away with it like they have been for the last week or so, or can we all bring 70+ cb accounts???

Feel free to start disputing them once we've started the wcotm, they'll be dealt with accordingly.

No overs? 70 cb?

So maxed accounts in xlpc :/

Should be 65-cb- without overs or 70cb with overs imo.

We discussed the issue thoroughly with the leaders & ranks who attended. Although, we may not all agree with their decision making, it is their scene after all.  We won't standby for their combats getting any higher than 70 though as it will be suicide.

I'd personally prefer 65 cb too but thats what people decided on.

@, you can actually create a memberlist quite easily on Sharkbrew w/o your own forums.

Leaders and ranks had different reasoning behind this. The only clan opposed to this decision was Ascent.

What are these reasons? So people can have trihard accounts like when Fearless had maxed accounts with 1 prayer vs majority of dual 75/80 stats. Just defeats the object of xlpc needing to be maxed to compete, just when the scene was finally looking competitive and somewhat thriving, here comes the spanner.

We went in circles about how xLPC is an entry bracket for any brand-new clan. Some ranks were discussing that they have already have some 70s and don't want to take a step back. Some said they didn't want to hold back their members. From the sounds of it, a clan kinda geared them towards the level cap. Everyone wants to be on the same level so some of the clans seem to only be getting their combats higher to compete verse having level 50s.

This discussion may have went for 20-30 minutes or maybe even more.

Keep 70 combat then just allow overheads, no overs preps are brown sticky stuff and this is just encouraging maxed accounts only to compete lol, in before dual 90 prep reqs for xlpc.

This puts me off even getting involved now

We can't really go against what the clan leaders wanted

The current xLPCs wanted that combat range, although I do agree that it should be below 65
