So May 27 the eu passed a new law protecting customer data. Called GDPR. 

 

According to jagex privacy statement this is all the information they collect ( a lot ) : 

  • Identity Data includes first name, last name, username or similar identifier, title and date of birth.
  • Contact Data includes billing address, home address, email address and telephone numbers.
  • Transaction Data includes details about payments to and from you and other details of products and services you have purchased from us.
  • Technical Data includes internet protocol (IP) address, your login data, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform and other technology on the devices you use to access this website.
  • Profile Data includes your username and password, purchases or orders made by you, your interests, preferences, feedback and survey responses.
  • Usage Data includes information about how you use our website, products and services.
  • Marketing and Communications Data includes your preferences in receiving marketing from us and our third parties and your communication preferences

What that means is you can request all of jagex's stored information on you as an individual by emailing [email protected]. You need submit two forms of id one from each list. 

 

I just sent in my request as i know jagex are a bunch of slimebag fucks and probably know way too much about me and you should too. Jagex is forced to comply with every request else they get fined out the ass(up to 20m not rsgp) 

List A:

Signed passport or card (current and not due to expire within 28 days)
Birth certificate
Government or state issued photo identity card
Government or state issued driving licence
Firearms licence
Certificate of adoption
Marriage or civil partnership certificate
Military/Government/Law Enforcement ID card
Affidavit issued and signed by a notary public or person authorised to administer oaths which includes confirmation of your full name and date of birth

 

 
List B:
A utility bill (issued within the last 3 months)
Bank, Building Society, or Credit Union statement or passbook (issued within the last 3 months)
Mortgage statement from a recognised lender (issued within the last 12 months)
Letter from a legal practitioner relating to property purchase (issued within the last 3 months)
Property rental card or signed tenancy agreement for the current year provided by a registered property management company (not a private landlord)
HMRC/IRS (or equivalent local tax collection agency) self-assessment or tax related document (issued within the last 12 months)
Medical card or letter/document from a medical practice confirming registration
Affidavit issued and signed by a notary public or person authorised to administer oaths which includes confirmation of your full name and address

never understood this, unless it's for something malicious like kids on rs why do you care what the government does with your fuckin internet history or something lol
