It seems strange that a clan like theirs, that was founded on a private server, a place where avoiding wasn't a thing, moves to this game, suicides into every single pure clan for approximately 3 years comes out of nowhere and claims to themselves that they are the best long after the competitive culture of p2p clan wars died out due to many spearheads and clans with memberbases that lived, breathe and shitted it moved on from the game. The notion of bringing in a arrogant approach to motivate other clans to start taking it more seriously seemed to be a great idea. However, in this case, a completely different picture is painted for when we start seeing if they can perform the actions they talk about. Apex has been around for six years, during this time the only notable thing that they have managed to do is go from being the worst clans in the strongest competitive eras of clan wars to being the best in the weakest competitive era of clan wars. Now that there is competition due to clans starting to take CWA seriously, there seems to be a lot of avoiding from them. I mean for christ sake, they've literally just lost to Supremacy in a F2P Prep, a server that they thought that they were better than Rage at for when Rage only cared about quantity. It took Rage only two preps to put the nail in the coffin to their F2P career, now they flat out refuse to give them anything. So the real question is, was Apex ever good? Bottom 5 in the most competitive era of clan wars Never achieving anything more than a couple of weeks of #1 in the wilderness due to the likes of EoP & Misfits mass joining them Killing no more than 60 people in a P2P Fullout versus FO in all three rounds Losing to FO up 100 Wearing another clans cape Losing every single notable rivalry they've ever had despite having good quality (comes down to their very bad leadership) Helping put a final nail in the coffin of the same clan that gave them relevancy (Unbreakable) Having a leader that can't seem to be able to open his eyes (Must be a condition of some sort) Being a snipe team that was a part of #cluster124, an irc channel that consisted of Fatality, Supremacy and FO It seems that Apex have had the pleasure of being good at clan wars when no one cared, terrible at wilderness as everyone has always cared about it and now nowhere to be seen in the purple portal versus anyone that actually gives a fuck. However, you should direct your anger towards those who are at the center of the issue. Your leadership refuse to follow the rules of the declaration, "sit to matched", they have 0 confidence that you guys can compete with less than 50 members. Quode Posted November 26, 2020 Report Share Posted November 26, 2020 It's a real shame that Apex members get thrashed on weekends, and then are not even prioritized by their own ranks for arguably their most qualified events (preps). I can't imagine being an Apex member and having invites prioritized over me, for a prep that we should've been able to win easily based on our reputation.
