Genshin Impact Leak Suggests Bennett Will Be Available for Free in Update 5.0

A recent Genshin Impact leak has revealed that players will have the opportunity to obtain Bennett, one of the game's most powerful four-star characters, for free in the upcoming Update 5.0. The update is set to introduce the long-awaited Pyro nation, Natlan.

Genshin Impact's official channels have also announced that three new Natlan characters—Mualani, Kachina, and Kinich—will be added to the roster in the coming months. Mualani and Kachina are expected to feature in the first banner cycle, while Kinich is anticipated to arrive in the second part of the update.

Since its launch in September 2020, developer HoYoverse has regularly offered players free items, including four-star characters and weapons, usually obtainable through limited-time events. Previous leaks had hinted that Kachina, rumored to be a four-star character, would be available for free. However, a leaker named Genshin_Intel has clarified that instead of Kachina, players will likely receive a free copy of the popular Pyro character Bennett. This revelation has sparked mixed reactions within the community.

While some players are excited, given Bennett's reputation as one of the best four-star characters in Genshin Impact, others feel disappointed as they've already maxed out his constellation levels. Bennett has been part of the game since the beginning, appearing in multiple banners. His strength lies in his Elemental Burst, Fantastic Voyage, which creates a field that offers substantial healing and a powerful damage buff, making him a standout support character.

Known as Mondstadt's unluckiest adventurer, Bennett was discovered as an orphan by the Adventurer's Guild in the Mare Jivari temple. Rumors have circulated that Bennett's ancestors may originally hail from the Natlan region, adding another layer of intrigue to his character as the game continues to expand.
