StormyWings
FC 27 buzz is moving fast, and a lot of players are already watching the market, checking prices, and thinking about FC 27 Coins before the next cycle even lands. The leaks doing the rounds point to some real shake-ups in Ultimate Team, not just tiny tweaks here and there. Early playtest feel From what testers are saying, FC 27 doesn't look miles away from the opening weeks of FC 26, but defending seems to have gotten a bit more bite. Manual tackles feel cleaner, and if you time a challenge well, you actually keep the ball more often. That alone will matter to a lot of players, coz losing possession straight after a good tackle has been a pain for ages. Passing sounds more grounded too. Basic passes are said to work without leaning so hard on certain PlayStyles, which should make matches feel less scripted. Left-stick dribbling has also picked up some praise. Jockey movement, meanwhile, sounds smoother, so you're not fighting the controls every time you try to slow the game down. Through balls may still be a headache, though, so there's defo a bit of work left. A new SBC setup One of the bigger leaks is the point-based SBC system. Instead of chasing exact squad ratings, every card would carry a value, and you'd just hit a target total. That sounds a lot less annoying, especially for players who hate sitting there with a calculator open. There's also talk of a one-click submit option, which would save loads of time when you're just trying to clear the club. There's another bit people keep talking about. Duplicate cards may finally be usable more than once in the same challenge. That would be huge, honestly. Anyone who has stacked untradeables after packs and then watched them sit useless in the club knows why this matters. For players who like to plan ahead, the new setup could change daily club habits pretty fast. 1. Less squad rating stress. 2. Faster SBC completion. 3. Better use for duplicates. Evolutions and collection rewards Evolutions are also rumored to be getting more flexible. Instead of one fixed path, players may get branching upgrade routes, so the same card can end up in a few different forms. That opens the door to more personal team builds, which is what a lot of people have wanted for ages. An undo option and a full reset feature are apparently being tested too, and yeah, that would take a lot of the fear out of trying something new. Then there's the Gallery system. Once a card is packed, it would stay in your collection database even if you sell it or throw it into an SBC. That means collection progress could actually matter, not just the players you keep in your active squad. If EA gets this right, it could add a nice long-term loop, the kind that keeps you opening packs for more than just quick profit. Feature Leak highlight Why players care SBC points Total value instead of fixed ratings Less hassle when building squads Evolutions Branching upgrade paths and resets More control over card growth Gallery Cards stay logged after use Collection rewards feel worth chasing What players still want Even with all these leaks, the community is still asking for better matchday stuff. 2v2 FUT Champions keeps coming up. Monthly rewards do too. Rivals needs more reason to grind, plain and simple. Players want features that make them log in because the gameplay loop feels good, not just because a new menu item appeared. If EA can balance the on-pitch side with these Ultimate Team changes, FC 27 could land in a much better place than people expect. And if the market gets busy again, plenty of users will be looking to buy FIFA Coins as soon as the next wave of hype starts rolling.
