I believe it wouldn't. Your PSU is 650 Watts

 

Your GPU is rated at 600 watts the CPU is 88 Watts = 688 watts. Your PSU would probably turn into molten lava if you tried to start your computer.

 

I suggest you get at least a 750-900 watt PSU. This is to allow your PSU survive certain power spikes that might happen

I don't think that's how it works dude. Pretty sure 650w is ample.

I may stand corrected. Looking at this PSU now

It's modular which means I'll have better cable management and airflow due to saved space.

 

Your setup is pretty expensive imo. Is this like a custom aussie supply site?

 

It *may* be cheaper to source the parts from newegg and have it sent to a US forwarder.

 

Total cost of components = 700, shipping incl forwarding $150.

 

Probably saved like $400 than buying it locally

 

 

P.S. I honestly facepalmed when you said 650w is ample.. this is simple math, not philosophy :P

I looked at sourcing the parts differently and it only saves me about $100.

 

Not purchasing them from overseas I just can't be bothered with that.

Well your population density is pretty low, so you'd expect that.

 

I demand a picture of your computer when it arrives.

Is it that hard to understand the concept of

 

(power load + 15%) <= power source?

 

The power usage of your CPU and GPU alone outstrips your PSU.

With that logic if I were to crossfire my gfx card I would need 1200w which is just ridiculous.

 

I'm fairly certain the whole system requires 600w, but the gpu only uses around 300w.

The GFX uses around 250 watts max. I've even looked at calculators and it's saying this... Estimated Wattage: 451W

Based on this 650w would be more than enough.
