Community Code of Conduct

Hello, and welcome to our community! If you are new to these forums, I highly advise taking a look at this topic to understand our website policies. If you are a current or returning member of the community, this topic could be useful to you as well as this may be an amendment to previous policies.

Contained in this thread are rules set forth by administration that are to be followed in an effort to maintain community stability and cohesion. While we appreciate that everyone expresses themselves in their own unique way, this new set of rules has been created in an attempt to curtail toxicity that is prevalent and to foster a healthy atmosphere that will permit long term community growth. We want new people interested in all aspects of the PvP scene and want to provide an environment that is suitable for all players with an interest in clanning, rather than a very vocal minority.

Failure to adhere to community standards can lead to action being taken against your forum account, and any other accounts using our communications platforms and services (Discord, TeamSpeak, etc).

1. Offensive Speech & Behavior

We want everyone to be able to express themselves to their fullest extent, but Offensive Speech & Behavior as defined below will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

  • Attacks on any person or any group of people on the basis of Race, Ethnicity, Gender, Religion, Sexual Orientation, and Mental and/or Physical Impairment.
  • Harassment of any kind, devised to intimidate, threaten, silence, or harm another individual.
  • Taking flaming and baiting out of the game in an attempt to garner a negative response or promote abuse (Keep your disagreements in-game, no real life flames etc).
  • Unwanted Sexual Comments or Content. (There is a NSFW channel on Discord for this reason, keep it off of the forums).
  • Disturbing/Shock Content (Content that depicts Extreme Violence, Gore, Death, and Seizure Inducing Images or Videos).
  • Impersonating other players
  • Excessive Trolling
  • Excessive Spamming
  • Mass Highlighting Members (Either individually, or en masse in an attempt to harass a particular individual or groups of people).
  • Discussion/glorification of illegal activities
  • Attempting to smartass your way around these rules

Punishments are based on the severity of the offense and number of offenses held at any given time. All we ask is that you be respectful of others and do not act in a threatening manner.

2. Exposure of Personal/Sensitive/Identifying Information

While we encourage all of our members to safeguard their information, the reality is that we play a social game and people share certain elements about themselves and their personal lives with others on a daily basis. In an effort to protect our users, any of the following offenses will result in your immediate and permanent suspension from our community and all associated platforms:

  • Sharing publicly, without permission of or unbeknownst to the affected party, Personal Identifying Information including Real Life Name/Nicknames, Addresses (Personal or Professional), Phone Numbers (Personal or Professional), Vehicle Registrations, Social Media Profiles, Pictures or Videos that identify another individual, or other such related information.
  • Exposure of Digital Securities Information, including IP Addresses, Usernames, Passwords, Financial Records, or other such related information.
  • Unauthorized access and/or distribution of ANY Information, Accounts, Images, Properties or Goods belonging to other individuals or entities.

3. Points System Revision

Along with our newly updated policies, the points system is being revised after assessing that it has become too lax to the point that it no longer holds users accountable for their actions. The system will remain a 5 point system, with lesser offenses carrying lower point values, and more serious offenses carrying higher values. In addition, suspension times will be adjusted based on the total amount of points carried. Warnings will carry a zero-point value and any posting restrictions applied will be at the discretion of involved staff, for no more than 12 hours maximum. Upon receiving a total of:

1 Point - 24 Hour (1 Day) Suspension

2 Points - 72 Hour (3 Day) Suspension

3 Points - 1 Week Suspension

4 Points - 2 Weeks Suspension

5 Points - Permanent Suspension

In addition to these new time frames, points will decay over a period of 90 Days from the original date of offense. This is to ensure that the system is not abused by repeat offenders. Staff members will leave a detailed explanation for members related to the nature of their offense. Permanent Suspensions may be appealed after a period of 30 days from the original date of the ban, and are acknowledged at the discretion of community administration. Heinous offenses will not be considered for appeal.

4. Security

We are committed to the safety and security of all of our members. Our website has Two-Factor Authentication enabled to provide additional security to your forum account. All IP addresses on our website are hashed to ensure that user information is protected and no abuse can take place. 

If you encounter a website error or bug (Broken website functions, resource clipping, etc.), please report it to a member of staff immediately so it can be corrected.
