I chose the framework because it was a lot less time to make for me than learning php frameworks and it suited well RSW's needs. You should discuss it with the developers of this framework if you think its a problem. The point of using libraries like PrimeFaces is, you write a table in simple xml and it will generate you html and javascript with it. All the ajax actions for the paging are generated. This is the reason it generates IDs I do not know about. Did you really though this templating is just a simple xml->html convertsion? Template is xhtml, generated is html. The xml declaration stays in the generated for some reason. I didnt follow any template examples, just linked that one for you to understand. It uses xhtml templates, the first line is a marker for the template, it stays in the generated code. The id field is generated too. Maybe you should take some courses, learn new technologies instead of hacking in html/php, that crap is for legacy projects.
