  1. what does this even mean? Lots of RD were in Foe before they closed, do they not count as "real Foe" members? Applying your logic from your previous post.. Looks like tomorrow is going to be Foe vs Foe.
  2. What's with the damage control.. if you want to get real technical with it, Redemption probably have more ex-foe in their clan than Eop Good looks on the win Foe, really hoping you reopen.
  3. If EoP were really a quantity based clan right now, they would've been exposed long ago. Quantity based clans don't last this long. Conviction are the most recent example of what happens when you truly mass recruit. There usually comes a time when the pulls are close and the clan with better members win, it already happened months ago... and EoP won
  4. Saying Control beat EoP consistently in F2P isn't true. In the 6-7 months of 2014 that Control was open for, both clans only had 3 preps in F2P... Eop won the first two in the wilderness Control won the last one in CWA. I never hated or disliked Control, so when I say they weren't anything special in the wilderness, I'm not really saying it to insult them. Beating up on EoP/Cp in P2P, two historically mediocre P2P clans isn't really an accomplishment, even less when the clan was like 90% P2P based. They at least gave you some competition, while CT weren't able to do the same in F2P Oct 13, 2013 - Uploaded by FatalityCinema I'm strictly talking about the year 2014. It's all subjective really.. Ct clearly had the better half year in P2P - but I can argue EoP had a much better peak (when Control was open) in F2P, pulling 50s/60s/70s early in the year when they were beefing with Sv/Cp and could occasionally give a 2014 peak Fatality some fights in F2P, and also being the more balanced clan in both servers up to that point Control never really 'slammed' EoP as much as you're making it seem either. EoP spent most of the year beefing with Sv/Cp in the beginning, and later on Hazard. I don't think Eop fought Ctrl/Rd as much as they did their rivals I don't think I've mentioned EoP having a better 2014 than Fi so I can't comment on that. That losing streak was pretty funny and embarrassing, and while I'm not trying to make excuses, when looking into the context of that losing streak it doesn't really seem as bad. F2p/P2P preps vs Rd (Lost in F2P, won the only matched round against Rd in P2P) P2P/F2P preps vs Control (very close 1-2 in F2P, lost in P2P) F2p prep vs Sovereign (very close 1-2) Every other prep loss were to Fi/Foe... who at the time were like 2 leagues above us
  5. What's with all this revisionist history by ex-ct people? EoP's 2014 isn't as bad as you make it seem to be. You have to remember clans like Cp/EoP have ALWAYS been F2P based clans.. the fact they were able to compete and have fights with Control who were a heavily based P2P clan in 2014 most Sundays, should probably tell you Control weren't all that special in the wilderness. The same can't be said for Control in F2P, who almost completely abandoned that server besides having a few F2P preps (mostly with Rd if I recall, where it'd turn into non stop bitching about what clan broke the rules) The only real bad month for EoP from a wilderness stand point, was when the rank team was Rebel and an inactive Cronic because everyone had left/gone inactive. Even then, EoP's worst pull to an official event was probably in the mid-late (?) 20s during this time.. which didn't last longer than 2 weeks before they were pulling good enough numbers to compete again with the rest of the MPCs (Hazard, Zenith, Ctrl, Cp, Rd, etc) EoP never once pulled 8 to the wilderness in 2014. They had a better year than Control though, that's for sure.

  7. If EoP were truly the most unsuccessful clan on 2007, they wouldn't have been open this long. At the very least, they've still managed to remain competitive in the MPC scene back when Fatality was doing the same thing you're trying to discredit EoP for doing right now - out pulling their opponents by a good amount in the wilderness. All these other clans closing in the summer weren't even great in F2P. If your argument was about P2P, you'd be correct. Foe were the only real quality clan that closed in the summer. Control/Sovereign didn't do or barely had any impact in F2P, RD were more or less what they are now, Hazard/Zenith were complete busts, and CP could occasionally compete with Fatality every now and then (just like EoP/Rd could, at times and sometimes FOE) but would mostly do so doing that potato masher mossies brown sticky stuff. This ridiculous 30 minute/week long prep excuse thing is completely irrelevant. It's also fascinating people continue to ignore the previous fights that were much closer in opts, and instead make it seem to be like if EoP have only been capable of beating Fatality because of pulls ever since the rivalry had heated up
  8. Really neither did CP. Both Eop/Cp were wildly inconsistent throughout 2014. Same with Foe - but really only in F2P Moving to LPC times was actually the best thing EoP/Fi did, not only for themselves but for the pure community. It exposed CP's reliance on multi clanners (or invites... again...), and made everything more competitive than before.
  9. Can't really put RD in that tier with Fatality... especially if going by the last 2 p2p preps they had 3-4 weeks ago, Fi won both pretty convincingly. Rd/EoP/Zu seem to be in that second tier together... Maybe SKO but I haven't seen them apart from a few ~15v15 wars

  11. When looking back, what was YOUR most memorable pure clanning moment of 2014, and why? The thing I'll remember most about this year was how bad the pure community was looking at one point with just four clans remaining. Zenith/Hazard/Redemption/Control all closed with Sovereign going main all in the span of like 1-2 weeks. Shout out to @@Ivp and anyone else who had the vision and helped orchestrate the first wave of LPC clans... most likely ended up helping save the pure community How about you?

  13. Way to bring up something that happened nearly 6 months ago. Also, they beat them last week with a one defence cap... In fact most Zu/EoP preps end up being 2-1 regardless of rules/opts. You're seriously trying to downplay Eop's win against a clan you've yet to beat in a F2P prep? If all of these new brown sticky stuff EoP kids could at the very least accomplish that, wonder what that makes the members of RD by your logic

  16. The Mm+Hf alliance actually forced Foe and EoP to team.. If anything, it was Foe who bullied Mm so hard in P2P they had to have HF hold their hands long before the FoEop/MmHf thing happened
  17. You're right about TLP.. It just all comes to what the individual values more. Cp/Tlp/Epidemic could go in any order IMO
  18. Don't agree with putting Zenith on the DP level personally. DP had a much better peak in both servers, were more consistent and competitive with quality clans in the wilderness, and there's also the 5 or 6 closures Zenith had which hurts their ranking when taking everything into consideration for me. Zenith opened as a LPC in 2009 Closed/Turned (can't remember) into Anxiety Reopened later and closed into EoP Reopened again - this was their most successful version obviously Forced to close because of eoc (not really counting this as a closure.. happened to all clans lol) Opened on OSRS and closed shortly after Opened again in March (?) and closed couple months later Opened as a "LPC" but once again closed a month and a half or so after Too many versions, don't think v3 was good enough to make a case for them to be equal to DP

Breaking mines down into tiers, I think you can make the case for any of those clans grouped together to be higher in their bracket 1) Mm - Strongest peak, most impressive F2P full out record, and managed to overcome some stiff competition during their reign.. Had that ability to kick into another gear that other clans just couldn't match 2) Foe - Being a FOE fan boy I really wanted to put them #1, and I think you can make a strong case for it, but the difference for me would probably be Mm had to deal with a lot more competition in F2P than FOE did in P2P. Gods of P2P with great longevity. 3) Eop 4) Fatality A month ago I'd probably have Fatality above EoP, this one is also very close but the recent weekend dominance by Eop against them, along with my own personal bias has them just barely above Fi. EoP has the better peak and faced much tougher competition when they were on top (Prime and Peak Mm, prime Foe, even Epidemic in late and early 09/10) while Fi has dominated other periods where there was less to deal with as a top clan. Fi have been better in P2P, and have the full out win vs EoP, so it's really close. 5) Epidemic - Top 3 F2P peak right behind Eop/Mm, the first clan to probably piss off Mm and make them kick it to that next gear and were still able to beat them for ~3 weeks, one of the best matched and organized clan for their time... did so in late 2009 and early 2010 when the pure community was at it's competitive peak IMO 6) The Last Pures - One of the greatest matched clans of all time, very mediocre and inconsistent when it came to the wilderness compared to those above. 7) Corrupt Pures - Peaked too early imo, have been open for a long time so that's a bit of a plus but have been mediocre for far too long. Good second tier matched opts game for a long time now 8) Destructive Pures - Would've probably been in the tier below had they not of gotten a good amount of Epidemic apps, peaked at #3 in both servers when P2P was getting more competitive for MPC clans. Competitive clan in the wilderness for most of their existence. 9) Enemy 10) Devastation - Kind of like DP in that they were really good and competitive in both servers. 11) The Hatred 12) Control - Version 1 was very underrated, might've peaked at #3 (?) in F2P for a while there in 2011.. the OSRS version didn't really help nor hurt them as they were polar opposites almost - good in P2P but couldn't really leave their mark in the wilderness or have trips. 13) Intense Redemption 14) Zenith - Had the potential to be higher but I always felt iffy about their leadership. Too many versions of them certainly doesn't help.. they've had 3 closures on OSRS alone 15) Redemption - Don't feel confident with their leadership either, have done well in OSRS to remain competitive in both clan wars and the wilderness. 16) Tgg Divinity/Ascendency/Malice/Havoc/Carnage/EF/CPR/Zu etc - Rest of the clans were either too one server sided, or couldn't really do much outside of CWA/PCL
  20. What kind of revisionist history is this lmao Epidemic weren't just good in F2P wilderness fights, they were also one of the better F2P matched clans during their prime. The only clans I'd be willing to bet were better than them were Mm and Foe. Not bad for level 60s in mithril who had a top 3 F2P peak Foe have bested and have completely owned Fatality throughout history in full outs WHEN Fatality weren't slumping.. Seriously they've won like 5-6 (maybe more) in both servers in 2008 (down 17...), 2009 (before Fi fell off, were top 3), 2012 and 2014. Foe >>> Fatality and it isn't even close

Usually with these type of topics people just name the 6 longest lasting clans (Foe, Mm, Fi, EoP, CP, and Tlp), however I'm more interested in knowing where people rank the other clans from the 7th-15th spots If you cba or are too new to have a list I'm also interested in knowing - what's more important to you when ranking a clan? Do you put more value on Full outs? How strong a certain clan was at their PEAK? Matched game? Maybe longevity or the era they competed in? What would it take for clans like Rd/Zu to be top 10-15 (if they're not on your list) or move up if they are?
