Easy to setup, but it will potentially have very few players, and Jagex doesn't typically go out of their way to cater to pures slushpuppy: the friends chat 150 total limit to be replaced with a 2 week ban option in the friend's chat the ban thing would require engine work I will be forwarding most, if not all popular/sensible questions to Mod Maz and giving you guys the necessary feedback. There hasn't been a proper update for clans for many years now and the goal is to find a "sweet spot" update that is quick and easy to implement. Once we find that update, the next phase will require the entire community to rally behind said update. This means we will be hitting social media sites, runescape forums and the like. Could you do a survey in ur xlpc clan so we can get some hard numbers of what would be a good cap to set it at? else a 1-2 week ban might be suffice

I know, after pre-eoc, xLPC clanning was probably one of the most fun and least stressful form of clanning. I will be pushing 2 polls out on this weekend since we got enough feedback, but essentially the current cc("friends chat") is woefully outdated. They cannot implement a system to toggle cc limit because muh engine work, so my suggestion is either 50 levels in combat skills or maybe a right click button to ban users for a week. When you can't win a 2 year long rivalry against a clan so you switch focus onto a pure community site

Maybe you have a comprehension problem somewhere, I don't know but with the high pure turnover(300 or more) rate I demonstrated earlier, you essentially managed to convince them not to rejoin a pure clan. That seems like a bad thing to me don't you think? Oh I am definitely not asking you to follow your own obtuse advice. Simple solution- have a better retention strategy, if there are thousands of pures that you are recruiting, don't even stuff them into IR. One solution is to create like an jr clan to allow these members train off clans with lesser organization like V. That is why this wasn't really such a problem previously because the xLPC scene helped vacuumed up most of the new members. The xLPC scene is great because nearly everyone is at the same skill level. There is a reason why xLPCs take forever to move up to LPC. It's a long and arduous process training a freshly minted member to a functioning warrer. Throwing these new guys into a toxic war we have on hand atm isn't helping the community, it is feeding your leaders ego that somehow they are running a functional clan that has been in a rivalry with a lower tier pure clan since 2016. I actually asked Crafted(who was then a Sharkbrew rank) to try to open some sort of Dialogue with IR, but again he was rebuffed by Michael. Yes hes not 3at, but you have to start somewhere. That period of allying with EOP during Dull era occurred sometime earlier this year. This topic is about IR. I have the same criticism for every clan that currently bring mains and supremacy

My only concern is what you are doing is undermining the efforts of the community. I have no quarrel with the clan called IR. So please tell me which of my assumptions are wrong so everyone else is more informed of IR's role in the community because your narrative doesn't seem to hold much weight when subject to critical analysis.

Isn't that what IR is trying to sell themselves as? the clan who is going to save the community/help other clans, yet I daresay you are also inadvertently polluting/corrupting the existing pures in game. If you don't believe me on this, there exist clans who don't wish to participate in this shitfest and cancer, they choose to sit out of all this meaning they prefer to remain a small team with a tight community. Yet I would also like to point out that it was your clan that allied with EOP against FOE during Dull's era where they brought 70 tanks along to their trips. And I believe your clan has also hired mercenary mains to help you during your trips. Has IR ever tried to seek mediation with supremacy?

One sided fights are not the only reason, but the prevalence of in game toxicity, mains, and the general fact that these guys don't have a fucking clue what is going on, so they just get wiped- yes I know how it was like when I returned briefly in 2016 to the main scene of toxicity, so I joined an xLPC instead. And in this day and age of streamers/twitch.. these new pures have plenty of other options. Clanning isn't as enjoyable as it used to be. We as the community needs to actually wake up to the idea that we should stop thinking about just our own clan but the entire scene. Look, you can't have the cake and eat it. You can't boast about all the new pures you bring into the community without addressing the elephant in the room that you are not pulling as high as you should be. Based on some of the stats thrown out by your members, IR recruits around 7-10 new members every week. That is nearly 40 members a month! At that rate IR should be pulling 300 by the end of the year. Where are those members? If these members joined other clans, why are other clans not pulling as well as they should?

That's hilarious because I am prepared to bet that 10% of your recruits in Apex comes from sharkbrew without u guys having to lift a finger. I actually visited your forums and 11 introduction topics were referred to Apex from SB. 2 of those introduction are now full members and this is probably the most unironic bit: 2) How did you find out about Apex?: The declare section of sharkbrew xd.

At no point did I say mass recruiting is bad. Only what you do with those recruits that leave a bad impression of the entire pure community on those new guys, and that will contribute to the overall decline of the scene. And can you say I am wrong? since 2013, the community is in its biggest slump ever, and where are all these glorious recruits you speak of?

Then whats up with the IR audio leak every week from FOE? Strip teasing? Foreplay? Perhaps rivalry isn't the right word, but the matter of fact is that they are fighting every week, and frankly they are outmatched.

Unfortunately IR isn't a beginner friendly clan if they are in a heated rivalry with probably one of the most established clans in runescape.

If 3 paragraphs is an essay, then God bless you. And no, you did not state any of that, only to say I am biased against IR because they claim not to use Sharkbrew. Do you think those members will stay in the pure community to be a slave of a clan or leave to find greener pastures? Where are all these recruits? Why are we at the lowest number of pure clans since 2013?

Lmao, IR is probably one of the most active clans on Sharkbrew because they can't resist flaming supremacy. But the truth of the matter is, they recruit on a massive scale, but lack the coherence to even maintain any sort of retention strategy, instead throwing said members against the likes of extremely experienced legacy clans such as EOP(last yearwhen they were beefing) and FOE on weekends. The fact that preps rarely occur these days exacerbates the problem as members have little to no training time until the weekends come around (and btw, inners are not a substitute to fighting another clan). Remember, this is the clan who has been in an endless 1 and half year rivalry against supremacy, who routinely has to fight IR down opt and still manage to come out on top sometimes. These new recruits are better off serving in some xLPC or smaller LPC clans where they can hone in their skill in organized fights rather than being forced to give up a sunny saturday afternoon to go touch grass/wall in runescape, and then die 20 times to FOE in a rag war.
