Open Swiftkit Step 2. On the top of your Swiftkt screen you will see some options. File – View – Utilities – Links – Take Screenshot(PrintScreen) – Help Click Utilities -> IRC Client (Chat) Step 3. Setting up your profile. Click Options. After clicking options you will a popup that will be your next step to setting up your quick connection. Step 4. Server information. Click Add and then input the following information. Then input your information below. The options with *stars* are mandatory for you to put in that information. The rest is free will. Name: WwBNC ( Recommended )* Server Hostname: bnc.Wwbnc.com* Server Port: 2013* Server Password: User:Password (Example: Kingrang:Wwbncpass)* Nickname: Nick (Example: kingrangZ)Backup Nickname: Nick|BNC (Example: Kingrang||AFK)Nickname Password: Password (Example: WwBNC)Real Name: Name (Example: Justin) Press Save. and then Ok. Step 5. Connecting. This is when everything is setup and its time for you to connect. Select your new profile. This will be the same name as you decided before. Click this and select your profile. If you’ve done everything correctly you should connect to your brand new BNC via Swiftkit! MIRC Step 1. Open mIRC Step 2. On the userbar you will see File – View – Favorites – Tools – Commands – Window – Help ->> Click File ->> Select ‘Select Server…’ Then search for SwiftIRC Then input the following information. Description: WwBNC IRC Server: bnc.wwbnc.com Ports: 2013 Group: Password: Username:Password (Example: Kingrang:WwBNC) Then press Add. Step 3. Connecting. Press Ok. And your ready to go! mIRC Script Example of the script: on *:START:{/server bnc.wwbnc.com:2013 username:pass} To find your /server info type /ms read last and copy paste server info Colloquy Since you already have a IRC nick people know you by, fill in the quick information to make an account you can edit into your actual account.go to 'Window' -> 'connections'When you are at your connections, right click on the account you made and click 'get info'Your server pass is going to be the pass you got w/ your BNC, so it should be 'IRCNICK:'in my case it is 'Swelly:pass'the regular 'password' is the password for your IRC nick.Doing this now and adding it to your keychain will allow you to be logged into your nick every time you start up Colloquy. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ KevIRC Click the above spoilers for the most convenience for you!
