Of course they don't. They are one hour off. It's an interesting concept known as time zones. C'mon son, if you are gonna claim I'm faking it at least take some time and think it through. I really hope it wasn't Curse. It is very possible that it was someone else who knew about the prep, I know we don't have any shortage of people who hate us. Regardless, it doesn't make for a very fair fight. What's done is done, best of luck to Curse next time we fight. Hopefully the unknown individual keeps his booter out of it.

Unfortunately due to irl I was late to the prep. I missed the first round completely and was only in ts for the second round, not in the portal. While I can't speak for the first round, during the second round we did lose several people of teamspeak. Big boi said something about being ddosed, then left ts. He didn't lose connection from ts so I can't really say what happened. I do know that BvG got hit immediately after, followed shortly by Tom Valor and Jasper. Several more members complained of severe lag, but since I didn't check their packets and they didn't dc I'm not going to jump to the conclusion that they were ddosed, that was probably their net or something. After looking back through the logs, I noticed something that seemed off (besides the fact that four people went offline within 30 seconds of each other). It wasn't until the round was ending or over that any of the people who dropped managed to get back in. BvG managed to at least get on his phone while he tried to log back in. Again, I can only speak for the second round, I wasn't at the first round I don't know what went on. But I do know that round 2 we lost several people within seconds of each other. I expected better of Curse.

The bottom line is that people take Runescape.com way to serious, especially in the clanning/pking community. People flame and talk trash for several reasons. Some do it because it makes them feel alpha when they kill you in a video game while throwing out colorful insults, others do it for the trolls and lols, others do it because they actually want to crush your spirit. What too many people seem to lose sight of is that this is a game meant to be played for enjoyment, and while I am competitive myself and admire the competitive spirit of the community when a computer game becomes all about your win/loss column and flaming and fun is out of the equation... it really just seems to me like you need to take a step back and learn to enjoy the game again. Don't get me wrong, when I fight I fight to win and am disappointed whenever I lose, but I play because I find the game fun, especially clanning. If we lose, I can accept it and move on, if we win, I can accept it and move on. Moderate amounts of trash talk and flame are to be expected, but sometimes it just seems like the extent of some people's vocabulary is "lol u suck" and "lol i fuked ur mum".

People will continue to flame whoever and whenever they want as long as they can hide behind their online identity. I personally feel that personal attacks or insults should immediately be removed, banter between clans should be allowed in small controlled amounts but if it begins to become excessive it should be removed and the topic locked. For example, if I were to post "Durhurr Ibro is a fucking down syndrome fuck him" it would immediately be removed, its a personal attack and is just useless flame. If i were to post "damn Trauma got smacked hard" it would be acceptable, but if a Trauma member responded and I then continued to fight with them for more than a post or two then I think that would be crossing the line from a little harmless banter to the beginning of a flame war, and it would need to be shut down. Just my thoughts, gotta go to class k bye.
