you must be new lmao good for a month? clearly you werent playing from 2006
CP was #1 f2p this year for 5 months straight in wildy and clan wars, no clan beat us in clan wars or in wildy solid 80-100 pulls week in week out for 4 months and also in the past CP was #1 in bh crator. #2 in PCL era and #1 again in Chain 69 era in f2p always top 2 f2p and in stone age CP and EOP have been at the top but none the less made some rises here and there also EOP has never beaten CP in a fullout.
TLP was only relevant since 2011 and before that competed against the likes of hosility in wildy bc of their low inconsistent pulls and the previous months before their closure they were doing bad
If you're highlighting the inconsistent Chain69 massing era as a highlight in CP's history then CP should probably be pushed even further down my list!
What was your name in Epidemic? I was a High Council and can't seem to remember you!? Also, there was no 'elite' rank title - so you might wanna change that in your signature.

Fun Fact:
The more emotion someone possess, the lower your potential IQ is.
Really? Based on what?
Only study I've read on the topic is that an EQ test is used to measure emotion and that there's a strong correlation between EQ tests and IQ tests, which suggests the opposite.
Just curious.

Grats guys, looked like a good win.

Wasn't 'in' that version but still proves my point. Every rank at that time was currently at university/college and it failed because people couldn't/didn't want to commit the time.
My point was when the rank set was younger and we were able to dedicate more time, those versions of the clans had more relative success. The rank staff of those more successful versions, ended up going to University.

Stopped actively playing or leading a clan at the age of 18 when I started University. During term time, I would rarely be able to get online but when I was at home out of term time and I wasn't going out during the week as much, I found spare time to log on and play casually. That said, I always tried to keep in touch on forums, as it was easier to log on and post a couple of topics whenever I had free time. During final year of uni and the following year (21/22) I stopped playing completely and then ended up going travelling. Pretty much follow the pattern that now I'm 23 and working full time, I log on occasionally during the evenings but still barely make it to trips as my weekends are usually full. RS is just something to pass the time when I'm at home and bored; and for me RS is just clanning.

Not sure as I don't know them personally. Although I'm pretty sure out of the clans that I've been in E/DP/NME etc, almost all the ranks ended up going/were at University.
However, I don't really think education plays a part in the success of a clan/rank team. People skills and the ability to make members/people want to do stuff for you is far more important.

You got more chance recruiting people into the pure community if you keep the combat caps much lower (i'm talking 40's) and competing and growing against each other until you're ready to fight the MPC's a few months down the line.
What's the point in just jumping into the scene with 80 or 90 combat when mains can hit you and every pure that is around that combat has probably had some exposure to pure clanning and is either in a clan, or doesn't want to be in one.

Not biased, it's normal to see clans that are viewed "old school" in rose tinted glasses for nostalgia purposes. For example, Epidemic is extremely overrated nowadays.
There's a difference between rose tinted nostalgia and context. I wouldn't say E's "extremely overrated"; especially when you consider what they did in the context at the time. The top 3 (FI/FOE/MM) were/had been untouchable for a couple of years and they broke that in F2P. It wasn't like opening a clan today, pulling 100 and beating FOE/EOP or whoever and claiming to take #1. They had to gradually climb above clans like CP, TLP, IR, EOP, DV then FI, FOE and then MM; probably when RS clanning was near it's peak (when pull's ranged from 40's - 100's weekly). That list includes a number of top top clans, which people are all putting on their lists here.
Do they deserve to be on someone's top 5 list of all time? No; simply because they were only around for 2 years and did very little in the P2P scene against the big boys - but even though I'm bias, I still think that's a pretty notable achievement.
Anyway, my list.
1) MM - Will probably always be everyone's number one.
2) FOE - Will probably always be everyone's number two.
3) FI / EOP - It's too close to call, cba to justify dates etc
4) ^
5) TLP
6) CP - Honourable mention
Only reason I've put TLP above CP is because I've always though CP lacked an identity. What are they the best at? I'm not sure. Sometimes they look like world beaters in F2P Clan Wars, but then the next week they'll lose 3-0 to a bunch of noobs. For a month they'll be #1 F2P in the wild but then they'll get beat for a couple of weekends and drop back down the ranks. With TLP, they've always been one of the best (not the best cuz FOE ;ppppp) in P2P matched and post 2011 kicked on in F2P matched.

Does this kinda stuff have any affect on clans nowadays?
Would have thought clan's woulda wised up after we did this 5 years ago.
-
It's kinda ironic that as the game ages and the average age of clanners in this community goes up, the community appears more childish.
Although I don't like it, I can see why clan's use mains/ddos - to gain an advantage. But what I don't get is why people go around and say cauliflower stuff like "L0l, go die of cancer broccoli!" or just outright flame people, as if it makes a difference to anything.

lol
play-off is a good idea - means that the actual better clan will win.
-
We would never 'clear' ROT, half our clans have a hard enough time clearing each other with all the return spots nowadays. They'd just keep returning and 10 hours later wear us down.

OK IM WRONG bloody Vikings is the worst clan name
actually, it was Bloody Vikingz, with a z.

Seems like a good cause.

As soon as brown sticky stuff gets competitive after this 'cleanse' people will start resorting to old and brown sticky stuffty tactics to win.
The reason why people cheat is because they're brown sticky stuff and need to do that to actually remain relevant/compete.
-
The more ranks they have, the less responsibility each of them has.
Which is good because I don't think any of them care anymore lol.
