It has been talked about plenty of times, but I don't really see any commitment. The argument for a 1 defence reset relies on the belief that mains won't interfere with pure clanning. With the services offered via discord, it would be easy for zerks to be created to rag pures. In reality, the same problems will exist no matter the defence level. 

The only benefit I see from a 1 defence reset is possibly recruiting those that are involved with singles pking. In order to keep their interest, pure clans might have to increase their activity in the wilderness beyond the normal prep/event times. Basically "small man" pure clan trips at hotspot locations including the singles area.
