The very thought still leaves some of us in a somewhat watered down state of PTSD. The sights and sounds all come back, flooding our senses, sending shivers down our very spines as we see the great blocks of Ice Barrage encapsulate hordes of angry teen Doom members attempting to charge an entire clan in singles...
 
What a sight, what a Sunday to be out in the Wilderness.
 

 
For what was to be one of our shorter trips of the season, action this evening was a constant presence on the horizon for our 52 strong squad.
 
Playing Hard To Get
Having seen Special Forces crumble under the pressure of their constant weekly batterings, it was no surprise for the rest of the community to see them scurry off to the welcoming arms of Doom. A pleasant experience I'm sure. 
 
With their influx of highly skilled & well trained new dogs at their beck and call, Doom were sure to be out in numbers this evening. An incestuous concoction of Doom and SF members bumbling towards you can never be a pretty sight, nor was it something we intended to be on the receiving end of.
 
As a result, the call was made to do the unthinkable, something the Special Doom Forces could simply not comprehend, we decided to play smart. Crashing clans left, right and centre, our numbers swept swiftly across the field of battle, ensuring nothing but the hats & capes of our fallen opponents were left behind, leaving Doom depressed in our dust. 
 
This wasn't to say however that our trip went without contact, it would appear that old habits die hard and this evening's events were no exception. 
 
Catching out UB and Olympus poking one another in singles at East Graves, it wasn't long before Doom wanted in on the action. Massing their men? in the multi-zone, none could have foreseen what we were to bare witness to, something which was to go down in the history books. With weapons at the ready and body odour rife, the wall of red hats threw themselves at the waiting Misfit forces in singles, needless to say a great gwassing of the masses ensued and for the majority of the Doom forces, the safety of singles was never reached. 
 
 

 
Relationship Status: Single
There were of course other clans out this evening who wished to make their presence known. Unfortunately, for the duo, enjoying the warm sands of Al-Kahrid wasn't to be such a pleasurable experience as first expected. With UB & Doom no longer holding hands, UB were caught out on more than one occasion this evening by Misfit forces. 
 
For a brief period, there were even talks within the Misfits camp that perhaps a collaboration between ourselves and Olympus may have been on the cards simply to give UB a night to remember, however with Olympus getting themselves over excited and over confident, it was soon apparent that this pairing was simply never going to work out.
 
We would like to offer a minutes silence to the fallen UB and Olympus members during our early encounter, may they rest in peace. 
 

 
Final Thoughts
We have once again shown that regardless of our pull, the quality of Misfits will continue to command the pure community. Hit after hit, the swarm continues to eat away at our wary foes. Let this evening be a reminder to all that regardless of your partnerships and pairings, Misfits are the #1 P2P Pures.
