It had been a while since we prepped Fatality in F2P so we were keen to come in and show everyone why we're #1 F2P and we did just that. The first round went down to the wire as we ran out of binders at 6v6 and Fatality took the round. The next round we cranked it up a gear winning comfortably before blitzing Fatality in round 3 to secure the dub. We used a magic formula to secure the win - Kill them and don't die. This time however we did a 20def cap so mithril would be allowed. To start this off, this was an incredibly close prep from both parties and an intense one at that which made it all the more fun to participate in. We would lose our defending round to start the prep off, but would then take a strong attacking round and finish it up with an intense round 3 win to beat the bears. Can't wait for the next one. We were ready to kick off the start of a new month with a win in the clan wars arena, as we were eager to add to our win streak. Yesterday's result filled us all with excitement. Fatality has definitely improved in F2P in the last couple of months, so we were coming in all guns blazing and called for a strong performance from the boys. We fought Fatality in a best of three FT50 prep and the rounds couldn't have been closer. We knew we were in for a tough fight as we had only prepped once in F2P in the last two weeks and Legacy have been very active in the last few weeks, taking wins from Fatality and Fo. The rounds were around 32v32 each time and a dominant performance from the Bears allowed us to secure the 3-0 victory. Rounds one and two we won comfortably however, round three seen us down three at one point and we had to dig deep to clutch up - some good individual performances meant we were able to claw it back and secure the 3-0 victory. We had no attacking round this prep as we came to close to Rage's fall in, this led them to attack us immediately and as a result of this, we lost the round which ruined our chances of potentially a 3-0 to secure COTM. Although it would have been nice to not drop any of the rounds, our goal ultimately was to win the prep. We knew that for us to win this prep we had to come into this next round with complete focus, it was a blow for blow until the low tens, we managed to win the round by the skin of our teeth leading us both into the tie-breaking round. Without hesitation, we rushed Rage rather than dancing around and destroyed them in pkri.
