  1. Actually when we re-opened on 07scape we pulled 40 after ~2 weeks, but overall we pulled around 20-30 for the few weeks we were open on osrs. There thus was some hype, just a lot of old members had stopped playing. Add to that there was hardly any hype for p2p (there was no f2p at the launch of osrs as you and I both know). We thus realised it was going to be brown sticky stuffty for us since pretty much all of us prefer(ed) f2p. Then we just realised it wasn't going to work out. It would've been a risk waiting for f2p to show up. I think it took 1-2 years for f2p to show up (only 2 worlds or so)? But after that the majority had definitely decided they'd stop playing (like me and many others). Pretty much all of us were 20+ at that time, moving on with our lives. I wouldn't say Epidemic wouldn't cut it these days if we had the same ranks and members as we did when, lets say, we were a top 4 clan. All motivated with a decent amount of time. We always pulled more than 60-70% of our ML, something hardly any clan does anymore. Meaning we would pull 50-60 on every weekend competing with clans like UB while slowly rising to compete with the likes of Eop and Foe. But you can't say these things for certain.. One thing is certain: neither Epidemic or NME would be succesful if we'd re-open now. All ranks have stopped playing and currently there are only a handful of old members playing. Ps I think IR is doing better now than pre-osrs.
  2. Nothing beats 2009-2010. 2012 had a few good months as well.
  3. I'd be very interested in seeing the return of clans like MM, Malice and Ascendency to spice things up in the top and lower rankings. But they'll never re-open in their old form. People have moved on. The same goes for old ranks and members from Epidemic and NME. Still I'd be every interested how the old ranks and members of those clans would do in this era. If I'd have to pick one I'd definitely pick MM (Hi Pink ).
  4. Yeah don't think it's going to happen. Clans will do anything to take or maintain the #1 position. Except for CD all other clans don't seem to be bringing mains.
  5. Stalking on runescape, an all time low.. why doesn't the guy put his friends list on friends or offline though? Is there a leak in the cc/his clan?
  6. Seems to me that Eop did better in the 1v1 in single, but Foe definitely outperformed them in the multi fight. Foe did leave the fight early though with 40+ people. In Eop's vid you can still see 15-20ish Eop members retreating to GDZ with their returners showing up again. But oh well.... all is fair in the wilderness, Foe clearly didn't want the fight to drag on for ages which is completely understandable from their POV. I'd say Eop are #1 for this week in F2P, and Foe are #1 in P2P this week, but very closely followed by Eop. Right now I'd call Eop the overall #1 clan. I'm curious who would be #1 if both clans dropped their mains. Luckily there were less mains in P2P.
  7. Goodjob, seemed like you had a lot of fun. Nice to see that my lines of E are still being used :)! Shame there were so many mains involved on both sides though. But oh well.. they've been a part of top clan rivalries since 2009 or so. Nothing will ever change that.

    eop wins again

  9. While I'd love to see this implemented I don't believe it would be actively used by clan leaders. Most of them are too scared, and there's too much at risk for most clans these days. Members literally leave, stop joining or become inactive/less active. Back in the golden days of clanning they happened, but not so often as people would like you to believe.
  10. In the eyes of pretty much all current leaders there's too much at stake to do a fullout. In other words: most are too scared. Haven't seen fullouts in ages.. I can't even remember the last one.
  11. Both clans should drop their mains. Eop should accept the preps and the fullout(s) in cw, but I doubt they will; they don't want to lose their momentum vs Foe. Foe on the other hand has nothing to lose since they lack the numbers and mains right now to properly compete during the weekend. Winning the fullout could result in a boost. Foe also gain a small boost when Eop decline the declarations. A wildy fullout obviously isn't going to happen in this pure clanning era and everybody knows it. I don't have to tell anybody here what would happen during a wildy fullout l0l... So Eop should stop trying to make Foe look bad for ignoring a terrible counter proposal in the wildy.. it kinda backfires (same regarding the poor main propaganda directed at Foe ), since everybody knows a wildy fullout isn't going to happen. It's a weak excuse. Clan wars is as 'fair' and 'clean' as it'll ever get. You don't want that? All fair and square, but you're leaving a strong message behind.. and it isn't in your favour. But as long as you (Eop) keep dominating them in the wildy during the wilderness.. ah well.. Besides.. https://www.sharkbrew.com/topic/3101-full-out-wars;-true-clans-strength/
  12. BHAHAHHAHAHA you're one funny person ! Thanks for making my day ! You'd almost believe that you don't belong here wasting your valuable time and skills playing Roonskape. You're only proving my point with your last sentence by the way ! Why ddos ór decline clan wars fullouts and preps when you're so confident about the qualities of your fellow clan members and yourself? That statement kinda backfires, and makes me believe otherwise ! You can almost compare it with men who need to compensate for having a small manhood (but it's okay; most people won't mind as long as you know when ánd what to do with it )! This goes to all individuals and pure clans whom feel the need to ddos and/or to bring mains to win a Roonskape battle.. but hey, anything to win Roonskape glory right ! I'm clanless by the way . Training (and P2P) sucks... !
  13. The Bob I quoted in my post was the former leader of Epidemic... wanted to make sure I wasn't talking about the topic starter.
  14. Good to know that you're not convinced in the abilities of your fellow clan members/friends, and that you believe that you can only win if you ddos ! You are one mean internet warrior !
  15. As Bob (not talking about the topic starter) once answered to the question "Full outs or Pk trips?" in 2009: "Full outs because I get to add a couple accounts to my memberlist, make sure I leave a phone call to all my inactive members and trade accounts in order to make sure every account is at the war. " Also this topic Bob made in 2009 (or click on the spoiler below): https://www.sharkbrew.com/topic/3101-full-out-wars;-true-clans-strength/ Let's be realistic: we'll never ever see a clean full out in the wilderness again. Clan wars is as 'clean' and 'fair' as it'll ever get (still wouldn't be completely due to all the ddosing, echoing, spies and bribed members dying instantly, and what not). So guess we'll have to wait for the 100 vs 100 for the Jaqex Cup.
  16. Well done :)! CD didn't (and doesn't) stand a chance. So much for their mains..
