Making exceptions will lead to the mass return of mith and addy in the end.

Sandra got a reaction from 0ldschooler in So what about the lpc cb cap?
Back in the 'golden age' of clanning 88 combat was considered a high leveled pure for the top 3 clans. Guess definitions of LPC changed a lot. In my opinion (and from what I remember from clanning back in 2008) a LPC is a clan with an average combat of 50-60, medium 61-75, and high above 75. Then there are people saying it stands for 'low/medium/high pulling clan'. Guess it's much easier to train these days? But a cmb cap of 88 seems about right, but calling yourself 'LPC' seems weird/wrong to me. Ah well, guess we'll just have to ignore that term and keep the cap at 88. Interesting to see if the def and cmb cap will hold.

Also: making exceptions to the rule will lead to more clans making exceptions, and thus the scene will end up with addy.

Hey Allen ! Seems to me pure clanning isn't worth it anymore. You should try out a medium main clan to be honest. There are quite a few out there having fun (Forsaken, Poison, Divine Knights, Fools, The Rising, Downfall, et cetera.).

Sandra got a reaction from fstyle in Religion
I'm not religious, but throughout the centuries the Roman Catholic Church gave us (Western countries) norms and values that are widely accepted and integrated now (there will always be tomatos and psychopaths). It brought the human race a step closer together in certain ways. I am however against (religious) extremists that spread hate and intolerance. Without those people the world would definately be a better place. I somehow do believe people become more tolerant and less hatefull with the decreasing of religious people. Still, the Christian norms and values will stay. I feel really safe in the Netherlands, a country where 50% is atheist or agnost and the religious people are very tolerant. I can hold hands with my girlfriend when I'm in the city without feeling threatened or scared. I don't think I'd feel safe in certain countries that are very religious. I however do agree that lesbians are more accepted than potato mashers by both sides in the Netherlands. Actually I believe that there are more non-believers that openly hate on potato mashers in the Netherlands than religious people. Maybe because some religious people don't want to see or talk about them.

I get what you mean, but this can be answered with a simple sentence. Because people want to win. It's more fun to win, and therefore some clans/people will literally do anything to win (yes even act as twelve year old gangsters on forums and ingame).

I remember Bob's post when Epidemic closed as a top pure clan. The title was: What are we fighting for? You're fighting to have fun. But is it really fun to flame someone over Runescape? To hack, scam, ddos and bring mains? What if you're at the top and no-honour tactics increase, making you have less and less fun? Why continue playing if your fun is degrading? I believe that on the end of the day most of us feel silly for taking a game so serious. When we were little - and pretty much innocent - we all seemed to have more fun. There were almost always clean fights, but still intense rivalries without ddosing and what not. Sure it did happen once in a while. But now it happens daily. Partly because we've grown older, with less worlds to pk in. The list goes on and on..

On the subject of mini's and preps: To become the best you have to beat the best, simple as that. So yeah: I do encourage clans to take on that clan you look up to !

Edit: I do know there are a lot of people that genuinely enjoy flaming others because it makes them feel superior and more manly/tough (lol).

    Goodjob both clans

You had a very chaotic TS during these fights in my opinion o.0 I would've muted a few for personall preference. One caller is enough with 2 or more back-up callers. I always hated it when 2 or more people would call together at the same time during a fight.

I don't think any of these clans can make that transition and survive seeing as most of their members are in top clans already. There would just be a pointless second first league competing with each other a few hours before the first league does (Eop/Foe/TLP/Etc.). Otherwise I don't think they can remain open.

We had a fullout for that cape, but Foe crashed it lol. Then IR regrouped in maze (hah) and we killed them.

Afterwards IR obviously didn't change capes. So yeah: let TLP and Supremacy fight for it in the wild every week. A good way for TLP to get back into the game. A healthy rivalry which will improve their pulls because they are fighting for their symbol.
