before reading : already notice that it will be a long text, if you are a member of a clan and just want to kick some ass this reading is probably not for you, if you are a clan's rank, please take a few minutes to read, reflect and issue your opinion on the matter below.

The imminent death of f2p is a reality, in fact, nobody today expects the scenario to be better or simply the way it is today in a few months. we are part of one of the smallest niches in a game that by nature doesn't have many new players
                             

    but, why does this happen?


 
at the beginning of oldschool the f2p scenario was active and in fact, it was the main scenario for pvp clans, so what has changed from 2014 to now? if the OSRS based player is only increasing, why doesn't our niche grow too?
I can divide this into three main factors:
-the elitization
-the lack of a main event
-toxic rivalries

the elitization:
the requirements to join clans have become increasingly insane, and the clans themselves have stopped going for new bloods, in fact, to join a competitive clan you need to have a clan history, know someone inside that clan, have good levels and returns
this alone already drives away a huge number of players, making a bubble in the world of clans and with a clear consequence, the lack of renewal of the scenario

'' recruiting newcomers to my clan will make him lose his quality ''
well, that's not a lie, but is quality really as important as keeping the scene alive? a good example is done in pure clans, let's take zenith as an example, use tactics like spam from your clan chat in banks to attract pures who never join a clan to know your clan project
unquestionably this makes the clan with several members with lower quality, but that eventually will learn to fight and improve, and as a result, every weekend the clan manages to pull more than 100 people into fights.
The simple fact that 99% of clans today have as their base player only  who have played in the clan world for more than 8 years and with a combat level above 124+, but with small pulls and with basically repeated members in teams, demonstrates the madness of this elitization
the lack of a main event
This is something I believe has never been present in the main clan scenario, but success in the pure clan scenario should be followed by our community.
Ask yourself, what is the purpose of your clan today? win a rivalry? or just become the top 1? this again leads to a lack of objectivity in the f2p scenario, a large event, marked with a fixed schedule, can be a game change.
Larger fights involving several clans, seeking better performances / pulls / participations, in addition to improving logistics would make several players / clans be excited to return to f2p wild fights, and even new clans appear with this objective. Although it is difficult to score something
so due to the time difference between Est / Gmt, the biggest f2p clans should try to organize themselves to find an ideal time for everyone, even if at first their clan pulls less on these days, the tendency is for people to organize themselves and be able to show up constantly

Toxic rivalry
this is in fact the most important point, because it was here that the f2p scenario started to die, in  crash war of Rot vs Di / df / vr / eos we learned how crash wars can destroy the scenario. does not exist a winner in something like that, in the end we only have the end of the community we like and the
weakening of the scenario, although rivalries always exist and it is even something positive, things like, '' stop the activity '' or '' crash in all fights '' will only make new and old players away from the scenario.
Rivalries are positive, but when they become toxic and the only goal of your clan is to destroy the other, become something terrible and even if you ever manage to end that group of players, your clan will become aimless and will be the next to die

Rage gathered 33 LADS to battle against Legacy in a P2P miniature Preparation battle on this fine eve.
The rounds were fairly close for the most part however after throwing away a +3 lead in the pkri round to lose the first set, we upped our game and secured the reverse sweep as the Bears went on to win the next 4 rounds b2b2b2b - taking a 2-1 set and 5-2 round victory over the boys at LY.
Thanks to Legacy for the fight, we look forward to more in the near future.

We massed up 58 Bears for our usual sunday trip. Knowing our pull was a bit awkward being down quite a bit on our usual opponents, we knew we would have a harder time setting up fights for the day. We also knew we were going to be camped by med clan EZ for the entire trip, since we refused to kick one of our members.
We started the day off by hitting a cluster between BP and Onslaught at CA. After quickly clearing them from the map, Apex also came to hit us. This turned into a good return fight. The fight moved from CA to corp, which is when Legacy showed up to the fight. We dominated the cluster for a long time until Zenith also showed up and started huge clumps on corp hill. After the clumps were gone we decided to take our W and hit the bank.
The next fight consisted of us hitting BP and Onslaught at bandits, expecting Apex to follow behind us when we logged in. Sure enough 10 seconds later Apex showed up and we immediately turned around to hit them. This fight didnt last long as Apex was again removed from the map, we killed some of the straglers from different clans before deciding we should hit the bank.
We logged into a world at east ruins to see BP run in multi right in front of us. We quickly dismissed of their clumps while leaving the rest alone as we expected Apex to show up behind us again. This turned into a main infested singles fight vs Apex and EZ, again 1v2'ing without any issues. After a while of being up opts we took the fight all the way north of mossies and started the multi fights again. This fight went all the way from east ruins, to north mossies to spider hill and north of KBD enterance. Keeping our dominance all the way through the fight, leaving Apex and EZ to suicide for us.

Rage pulled 62 Bears for our Saturday F2P Pk trip.
The pulls among clans today were pretty dissimilar so we knew we were going to have to take fights down opts, but this has never and will never deter us from getting action.
We started off the trip by hitting a cluster that included just about every clan at CA, we done some damage to every clan before exiting the cluster as we chased Supremacy to east graves before getting a bank and looking on to our next venture.
The next fight we setup a 1v1 Versus Fatality at bandits, with Fatality having 10 more than us we knew it would be a tough battle - the fight didn't last long before it was crashed by Zenith, we teamed on crash and wipe zenith from 90 to around 35 in game before they dipped from the fight. Fo showed up with 40 mains which was a big mistake as we then logged in ours and for the next 5 minutes we ran them from east to west before for a while before Zenith rehit with 100 and we left them to finish Fo off.
Next was another fight against FI, this time east of ruins - This fight crashed by Zenith and Apex, we then followed apex to singles and put them to 20 ingame before moving to multi and of course Apex didn't follow
The next fight of the day we hit a fight between Fi and Zenith at sperm, we focused Zenith until they ran all the way to ghosthust after losing 70% of their opts - this was when we focused our attention to Fi, we quickly dominated the fight pushing Fi from sperm to 26 hill with 55 bears to Fi's 25 in game. As the fight went on, being down ten in ts and the fight moving away from a return spot, we were soon overwhelmed by Fi's sheer numbers and began moving the fight to sperm however fi got a log and we moved to Bandits for the rematch.
The final fight of the day was a fight against FI at bandits, again we were down 9/10 opts however being at a return spot we knew we could do some damage. After a few minutes of fighting and some solid returning we began to take the lead on Fi, Apex then proceeded to crash - the cluster lasted for around ten minutes and ended with Apex moving to singles with 20 in game the Bears harassed them with 55 strong to end the trip.

 
Thanks to all the Bears that showed up, our Saturday trips are always action packed and this is reflected in our constant 15 min povs.
 

 
 

 

NaN set out this Saturday morning with one thing in mind - brutalizing and victimizing weak blue cape clans.
This was accomplished with complete ease, as our warriors had a flawless kdr with 0 deaths to our name and over 40 kills obtained.
We chased clans down to level 1, we forced our victims to escape by ports, and we had our victims spamming insults as they bent the knee.
All in a day's work for the boys down at NaN.

FOE VS. NaN
Despite priding themselves on their weekend performance, foe completely avoided us for the majority of today. Our few encounters with FOE led them to insta teleporting out at the sight of our penguin masks never to return on the same world.

Zenith / Ly VS. NaN
There is no need for NaN to separate these two extremely weak and fragile masser clans. Every encounter with one of these sandcrab recruits resulted in them being vaporized off the surface of Gielinor.

Rage pulled 33 Bears at short notice on this Tuesday evening for a F2P Cluster at CA/Corp Versus Terror/Zenith and Onslaught.
We knew we were in for a tough battle as Terror had around 45 and Zenith 40+, however this didn't stop us from starting the action as we rushed Terror down 10 at CA trees to start the cluster off.
The fight ventured from Ca to corp, boneyard, pond and fog over it's 30/40 minute duration. With some good warring and some good returns we done extremely well in the cluster considering our opt disadvantage.
Thanks to all the clans that showed up, it's been a while since we had a midweek F2P cluster - and thanks to all the Bears that showed up too!
 
 

 
 

Was easy

Massed up 60+ Bears for our P2P Sunday trip which turned out to be a great one with nonstop action throughout the duration.
Despite having a lower pull than the past few weeks due to our EU bears watching the footkick match, we had an absolutely dominant trip and were jumping into action 24/7.
We started things off by scouting Apex before any fights kicked off. One of their members got afk checked by our scout for a Toxic SotD in front of his whole clan.

They donated another one later on in the trip at CA.


 
For our first fight of the day we fought Fatality at boneyard. They defended and we rushed heavy on the northside and wrapped around them the whole fight taking a very quick advantage. We started down a few and ended up +10 before the fight was crashed by Apex. We instantly ran north on top of them and killed all the people they left behind as they desperately tried to chase Fatality south 😂. Fo crashed around this time and we banked.

 
We also had a 1v1 with Apex at Spider Hill northeast of mossies. The fight went back and forth but the video footage clearly shows the Bears winning the majority of the fight. The 1v1 went uncrashed for some time before a main clan decided to rush and both clans decided to dip. 



The rest of the trip consisted of partaking in multiple different clusters which included most of the other clans. We also had a notable 1v1 with LY fighting down about ~25 in teamspeak. It was a tough fight but we held it down for the whole duration before multiple other clans decided to crash. 
Another highlight was when fo ran into multi from graves straight in front of us in a fallin. We killed about 20 of them as they cluelessly tried to run into a cluster. We followed behind them and barraged clumps with no repercussion for a good few minutes straight.

Rage pulled 71 Bears for our Saturday F2P Pk trip
The pulls among clans today were pretty dissimilar so we knew getting a clean 1v1 was completely out of the question.
We started off the trip by hitting a cluster between Apex/Sup and Fatality - pushing them all to singles rather quickly as nobody wanted to take on the mighty Bears so early in the trip.
We soon realised that hitting these clusters between Apex/Sup and Fatality was a waste of our time as the outcome would be the same each time and our members wouldn't get the action they showed up for, so instead we left fi to clear them 1v2 and we focused our sights on the shitfest at corp.
Zenith,Fo and Legacy were all in a 3 way main infested clusterfuck at corp, we decided to join in on the action - We hit everything and anything we could despite being down opts on all three clans.
It wasn't the 70v70 pure fights we were looking for, but we'll work with what we've got. Thanks to all the lads that showed up, the pull was great and we hope expect the Rage stonks and pulls to continue growing.

Rage gathered 40 Bears for our scheduled F2P FT50 Event versus Supremacy
We hadn't fought Supremacy in F2P in well over a year so we weren't quite sure what to expect, so we warmed up as usual and were ready to go.
The Bears that showed up were well aware of what was at stake today as we had our COTM Prep verus Legacy directly after. This showed as we beat the tigers in stunning fashion, gaining a considerable lead both rounds.
 Thanks to all Bears that showed up and thank to Supremacy for the action, it was easy to work with you guys and we hope to do more in the near future.

As there are 3 clans for this month, we will be doing a round robin tiebreaker where each clan will have to prep the other 2 clans.

The winner of this tiebreaker will be decided by who won the most number of preps. However should there be another tie, the following results will be factored into deciding the winner
Number of prep rounds won If there is a 2nd tie for the number of rounds won, then I'll look at the total number of players who died for all prep matches. The clan with the lesser number of players who died shall win. ------------
