When using other forums like Reddit or Clan Forums. I never get notifications that are not directly impacting myself.  I just like plenty of other Sharkbrewers could less of a fuck about Whipz, clantracker, or promos. We are not autistic monkeys and can circumnavigate these forums pretty effectively to find this news if we find need be.  There is no reason for me to get 5 notifications in a weeks time for useless topics such as these. Not only this but this promotes an image of spammy forums and dissuade new people from these forums. I've made this topic before  https://www.sharkbrew.com/community/index.php?/topic/41709-fuck-off-with-mass-mentions/&tab=comments#comment-1178148  and there were several people supporting this idea but for some reason,  you are unable to listen to your user's input and insist on sending us tons of notifications. I want to be notified when someone quotes me or someone mentions me. What I don't want is SlushDog or these useless mediators making useless topics and mass notifying everyone on the forums.

With the current COTM setup, propaganda is heavily rewarded compared to actual wins. What kind of system makes sense where you award #1 to the clan that creates the most topics? Every weekend, your rank team likes to create little short stories flaming all of the clans you fought, no matter what kind of action you actually had. Lets take the latest example: Supremacy members flaming Apex for harboring a weirdo named Whipz, while your own warlord Zach is an actual sex offender. Is it becoming any clearer why most people in this community think you're a bunch of losers?

Pretty sure the only clan that actively participates in this contest (Supremacy), should already be on the Blacklist for prior disputes. May be part of the reason why most people believe COTM is a joke.
