Abyssal_ Posted September 24, 2015 Author Report Share Posted September 24, 2015 the basics! kurdish forces (ypg,pkk) have been fighting isis/nusra in syria for years now war carried over to iraq when mosul fell to 300 isis members as 60k iraqi army fled leaving everything behind. isis became strong was at a standstill with peshmerga for months, summer of 2014 they suprised attacked the city of shingal and advanced to 5km away from the city of hawler (capital of kurdistan) they killed many at shingal, thankfully peshmerga mounted a counter offence and with help of air strikes pushed isis to the outskirts of mosul and on the fronts of kirkuk. the pkk ,pak, pdki,pjak, ypg and many other kurdish militias from turkey syria iran crossed through the mountains to defend shingal and hawler and came to help while peshmerga were even sent to syrian kurdistan (kobani) which the kurds consider the modern day stalingrand heres a video of pkk and ypgj ( including women fighter wing of pkk) in a joint operation in kirkuk which captured 14 towns from isis last week, shows that we are united and ready to defend one another as west kurdistan(syria, rojava whatever u want 2 call it) and krg seem more united day by day.. turkey and iran is a bit more complicated as pkk rage war in turkey the hpd party is against erdagon party for obvious reason, iran is prob the biggest oppressor of kurds so kurds also fight them for obvious reason but have gotten no support and iran is a military state but one day we the peshmerga will return back to iran. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BborVypllcM iraq/iran have shia majority so iran arms the shia militias in iraq, which are just as bad as isis towards the sunni tribes and sunni militias who they say are with isis so while iraq is in turmoil iran tries to control the country more and more because of the shias in iraq who support iran it becomes easy for them tbfh but iran and the shia militias are the only one really fighting against isis as the sunni are more sympathetic towards isis in iraq because of their hatred against the shias , and isis tends to not bother sunni men who do not bother them which leaves the kurds very vunerable in the north , turkey has also been bombing pkk positions and villages they claim harbor pkk fighters in Kurdistan region so many people say turkey supports isis, as their is footage of them interacting with isis militants on the border and allowing them access to attack pkk/ypg fighters from their borders Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Peshmerga is basically a terrorist group in east part of Turkey trying to get people to join them and fight for them, and if the people don't come they just kill them. Turkey have been fighting for years vs the pkk. It's annoying that there is people in this world truly take their side. It's cauliflower and ignorant how people believe that they can fight an entire country just that they can get their country which never fucking existed in this whole entire world. Pkk and peshmerga or whatever it's called its a terrorist group they have had many suicidal bomb attacks in major cities of Turkey. Fucking peshmerga prick go to hell.
