slushpuppy Posted March 6, 2015 Report Share Posted March 6, 2015 At least in OSRS, in my opinion, fullouts does jacksquat in determining which clan is better, The past 2 jagexcup fullouts( mm vs (foe/fi)? and FOE vs FI ) both resulted in the winning clan closing. The irony is that, after the fullout, the losing clan ends up doing better on wilderness trips. Clans cannot escape the reality that the true test of a clan's performance lies in regular wildy trips where there is so many variables to account for, e.g. spying, leaks, positioning, knowing when to hit etc. Fullouts nowadays is just a test of how much you can mass/hype, luck-map glitches, and performance of the member/ranks. At the end of the day, if the clan truly cannot continue functioning, they will end up closing, regardless how many fullouts they won. Consistency should be recognized as the key indicator of the performance of a clan, and weekend trips are the best indicator for consistency.
