  1. Did I say mass recruiting is dumb? No. Only if you mass recruit, then throw your newly minted members against legacy clans with far superior warring abilities who then get pissed off and leave to go pk in bounty hunter
  2. Pretty much every clan today, who; starve their rivals, bring mains or mass recruit sandcrab kids to show these new members the prime example of why u shouldn't pure clan. and you would be better off single pking in edge
  3. Because pure community doesn't really generate the level viewership as DMM
  4. It can be quite hard to argue for more resources to put into pure clanning community over other communities
  5. Unfortunately that is an engine update, and from my understanding, the earliest we can see a clanning system would be in late 2019. Do you have any smaller suggestions that could mitigate some of the biggest issues?
  6. I actually pushed that forward to mod ash a while back, but I wasn't ready to put in 100% to back the idea as I wondered whether if there are more ideas from the community they would like:
  7. Earlier this month, Sharkbrew rank team met up with Jagex moderator Maz. In that meeting we learnt about the various problems surrounding suggestions being submitted to Jagex, and the current developer bottlenecks they are facing, especially with regards to OSRS mobile. One of the key issues raised was the lack of system or centralization with regards to Clanning suggestions. Ideas are thrown all over the place, and there is no clear indication whether the community wants that suggestion. Conversely, upvoted suggestions on reddit 2007scape shows a clear demand- something we do not have. What was requested of us is to come up with a unified council or committee to pick the best suggestions, flesh out that suggestion completely, and push said suggestions until they are implemented in game. Furthermore, the clanning community is getting smaller over time while the runescape population has grown. Additionally, there has been updates that has significantly hurt us. So now or never, we have to band together for this one time or we will see the end of our scene as we know it. Thus, we shall propose 2 suggestions, one for the main scene, and the other for the pure scene, so this topic is to help determine suggestions the community wants the most, and the sharkbrew rank team will push for it. To summarise; I will need all of you to put on your thinking caps and reply to this topic @Member @Veteran @Kingpin
  8. Community Code of Conduct Firstly, I would like to thank @Eevee(Victoria) for writing the new revised guidelines. Under these new guidelines, we are looking to build a community that is open, and attractive to new players, but yet still allow for the community banter that occurs between clans. With Victoria's vast experience moderating online communities, we will be able achieve this goal. Key Changes: Warning points now expire after 90 days(up from 30 days) Suspension for your first warn has significantly increased Community Disciplinarians Some sharkbrew ranks may have a subgroup called "Community Moderators". These ranks help upkeep and maintain the community rules. If you have any rule suggestions or like to report potential infringers, do drop them a message! Currently the following ranks in this subgroup are: @Eevee @Nolan @Caroline.
  9. yellow capes and green hats is quite a good looking outfit
  10. Both scenes need work to start attracting the majority of the player base back to their clans
  11. its a sad situation we are in
  12. Chillax, you don't have to keep calling yourself dim witted, but there are plenty of jobs or businesses that require you to work on saturday/sunday and u have mon or fri off
  13. Slippery slope because same thing can be said for EST too
  14. Obviously not, but they need to wake up for work the next day at 7-8am right?
  15. I was informed differently, and Crafted didn't do his diligence of following up on the matter.
  16. Unfortunately, Phebz, who is one of our good ranks, was exposed for leaking staff and confidential material to an outsider. Thus he has been demoted in the interim while we investigate further. We have also recently done a rank sweep and we need mature representatives from non represented clans(EOP/Apex/Sup/FI)
  17. It's more due to the fact that Apex/EOP withdrew from the system when there were only 5 clans left in the scene. What a brilliant idea your leaders thought, until you realized that your clan is heavily dependent on clan wars action
  18. Can't help but notice that you conveniently not mentioning your own allies-who not only brought mains before, but currently setting a market on them(3m per main) We can't if the community doesn't take a unified stand against cancer. You are just as well a contributing cause to the toxic shithole the scene is going into.
  19. He was approached by IR and was paid too.
  20. From my understanding, IR paid him to AC, but supremacy still alleged that he still attacked high level pures. Then again I never heard from Supremacy afterwards
  21. So how does Sharkbrew- a community site- contribute to the problem of pure clan leaders bringing and hiring mains?
  22. ^^ @H I T T A this is the sort of attitude i was talking about - just deflect the harbinger of their problems onto sharkbrew X D woo hoo!
