  1. These type of events are always better than repetitive preps in CWA. Would've preferred to see it further away from GDZ... Gj on the win Supremacy
  2. P2P won't be close. Much more potential from a competitive point in F2P... I hope FOE do well and maintain #1 - But I hope they do so in getting competition from Fatality and maybe even a clan like Redemption. Means a lot more when you aren't out pulling clans every time by a good amount and have to resort to crashing everything Clan like CP can also "surprise" and get their pulls up there during summer to compete with FOE in F2P... they've historically relied on massing and/or invites to do so, I don't see them as a serious long term threat
  3. This is a myth. Supremacy/Zu/Lt never really 'stepped up' the same way people want Olympus to They didn't have a choice once EoP/Fatality decided to schedule their trip times 2 hours later... if Redemption, Control, Hazard, etc. had stayed open, it's safe to assume Sup/Zu/Lt/Conviction etc. would've stayed going out at separate times for much longer. Prepping some HPC clans to see where you stand is a good start... I think right now Olympus is in a weird position where they out level most LPC clans but would be heavily out leveled by most of the HPC clans - I could be wrong, I'm just going by what I read on these boards and this topic If they're serious about moving up they'd obviously have to train a lot... Expecting to transition from fighting Cd/Imperial/Aao to fighting Foe/Fatality right from the beginning is not going to happen like @@Eeekaj said.. Start fighting the clans near the bottom (Zu, Lt or whoever) and work your way up from there. The one thing Supremacy/Zu/Lt DID do was be forced to level up, same will happen for Olympus if they decided to go out with 'HPCs'
  4. Looks like you guys won the initial fights.. cba to see both sides claiming they won a return fight Grats on #1 today FOE.
  5. In P2P? I feel like it's always been like this in the wilderness... The only clan that was able to offer them competition week in and week out was Mm and a prime Fatality in 2014 TLP probably had the most potential to also give them good fights, but could never pull the numbers Foe/Mm could to wilderness trips besides a few bursts here and there. Doubt clans like Havoc and especially NWO would compete with FOE during P2P trips, iirc they were usually fighting other middle-tier clans OT - Good job FOE
  6. Nice job changing it up Looked like fun.
  7. Using that sole argument without any context - I'd have to agree with Floor
  8. Matched, I guess you could make a case... Most people would agree Dp's actual peak was after Epidemic closed though
  9. The only thing I disagree with is the full outs not meaning anything.. I think context means a lot which is why I personally don't put much into the Cp/Fi and Fi/Eop full outs - as well with others like Zenith/Ir I do find it funny how people try to discredit EoPs past accomplishments by saying they didn't win a full out - both times pre-eoc and on osrs (couple weeks ago) clans like Mm and Fatality would decline when EoP was at it's peak/prime
  10. The best rivalries for me are the ones that have a back and forth, the hating each other part just makes it a bonus. Redemption and Zerg Unit didn't like each other, but it's clear RD were just better and I don't really recall them losing to Zu much.. those are more like a superior clan just picking on an inferior one Foe v Mm was good because it was like a forever thing, both clans would beat each other, didn't like each other and it rarely (maybe besides HF targeting FOE in P2P) got too cancerous Foe-EoP in 2009/2010 and even in 2015 had the dislike and the back and forth, although in 2015 it was a bit more too the 'cancerous' side it was still one of the better ones in 07
  11. Ddosing, bringing mains, leaking leaderboards, etc. is all pretty normal considering how many times it's been done throughout the years The 'wildest' thing I've seen that I hadn't seen before was when CP were giving out free ranks, specifically the time where they let Conviction close into them and went through so many different leaders/ranks in such a short time span.. Nothing else really comes to mind.
  12. Nice to see clans able to work together to make this happen hope its a close ~85v85 war... going with the popular decision Fi/Tlp
  13. No.. This is all mostly revisionist history - mainly the pre-EOC stuff, I remember most of what happened throughout these years Fatality had fallen off in the middle-later part of 2009 after losing those PCT full outs to FOE... IIRC, they pulled like 50 to the P2P full out because a lot of their ranks quit (?) which resulted in them becoming an MPC and never really becoming a top clan again until they beat DP in a rivalry in 2010. EoP meanwhile had a late surge in November when Veneratio closed into them which would help them reach #3 - being in a rivalry with FOE while the Mm/Epidemic thing was going on... of course this later turned into the famous E+EoP vs Foe+Mm before Epidemic closed in Febuary of 2010. EoP pulled 130 the next trip in large part to the Epidemic members, but would slowly fall into a 2-3 month slump when the majority of them eventually left and the pressure from Foe/Mm Fatality, during the arguably most competitive/heated time in the Pure community were more often than not behind DP/CP who were both fighting for #5 ...... I don't think I need to speak much of what happened in 2010, after Fatality beat DP in that Spring rivalry, Eop later rebuilt themselves (lol at you claiming the only times they've been good was due to 'hype') and completely dismantled Fatality that Summer - despite having a lot of DP members eventually join them when they closed in August of 2010. Most of what you said about Fatality 'slumping' because of Mm is false, I don't remember Fatality even competing with Mm at all during this year... Imo this is probably Fatality's worst year in their history. When the old wildy came back in '11, shortly before the Mm-EoP rivalry heated up - Fatality were teaming with CP to protect themselves from EoP... even after the Mm-EoP / Foeop vs Mmhf stuff, Fatality were competing with Control and later Zenith for most of the year. Fatality didn't ever start to overtake EoP until ~March of 2012 when most of EoP's ranks had quit (if you're going to use that as a reason why EoP was able to beat Fi in the 2014-2015 rivalry, it's only fair I use it here too)
  14. I couldn't take his post serious when he mentioned 2009/2010/2011. Or that EoP's peak was in 2015...When they've pulled 130 on two different occasions Well said
