I think what you did was wrong taking the money without having the consent of others, however I don't think it was done in any form of malicious way, I think the evidence to my belief there is that he paid the people whom he took the money from. A similar situation happened in IV and we gave the person a chance to repay the members, but he didn't make good and got the banhammer. I don't think you scammed anyone, especially since you stuck around and had intentions of paying them back.
