  1. The Full Recap Here: https://tempest-rs.net/topic/7042 Tempest PK'd a few hundred mill yesterday (topic here: https://tempest-rs.net/topic/7041-saturday-feast/ ) so figured we'd keep up the trend today. Councilor Nick pinged the group chat to see if anyone wanted to PK and we massed up a handful of shooters to feast on some loots. Started the day out roaming from Calisto to Altar, clearing clans like NR, VR, and some vene's for absolute bank loot. Sniped a dozen +1's, tens of thousands of bones, and endless more loot before moving to Rogue's castle. At Rogue's, we hopped into the clan Sanity who fought back on even numbers (both having about 17ish). After about 10 minutes of fighting, word spread about the fight and more Tempest seamen hopped on quickly to join in on the action. Sanity put up a valiant fight but we managed to get a full clear of them initially at New Gate. We took our fall in with about 20 and said GF before intel told us that they had re-tele'd up to GDZ with their full clan. We quickly pushed west from New Gate and started putting them in cubes. They got stuck at tele spot and as a result, we were able to box them in and kill many over and over again. They eventually tried to split us by dragging west but after failing to get many kills and with us growing to 25 after we put up the bat signal, we managed to get the full clear for the second time and took our ending once more. GF to Sanity and thanks to everyone who came today and absolutely feasted. discord.gg/tempest | https://tempest-rs.net
  2. Tempest vs Adversity + The Rising Thanks for the fight Adversity + The Rising! Adversity & The Rising were kind enough to agree to team up to offer us a higher opts CWA fight. With many clans & teams avoiding fights, it's nice to see two clans/teams team up to provide quality action for all involved. Going in we knew together they had some fine quality in F2P CWA with a deep calling line up. As expected, they didn't disappoint and we got intense 3 rounds of F2P CWA. With some solid calling from @Dr Destiny, @Tika191, and @J2swift we managed to win all 3 rounds. Videos: Started as a competitive round, half way through we gained a few kill lead. However, TR managed to tie it up at 42-42 kills, from there with some solid tanks and great transitions we managed to get 8 kills to their 3 kills and won 50-45. After a close and intense round 1 we decided we wanted to win round 2 convincingly. So we quickly got a lead and only expanded it from there, comfortably winning this one 50-41. After of a somewhat slow start on round 3, we again got a big lead, but this time let the foot off the gas pedal and Adversity + The Rising made a solid effort to mount a comeback, and would have pulled it off had it not been for Tika's master plan of calling @sheli~as the last pile 10 kills in advance, giving us the close 50-47 win. Thanks to Adversity + The Rising for the great fight. Always fun fighting both of you guys. Hope we can do this again in the future.
  3. https://tempest-rs.net|https://discord.gg/tempest TEMPEST VS PLAYDEAD We wanted to start the new year off right with a fight against the bad boys at Playdead. Set it up about 24 hrs ago and planned to it out after a fiercely competitive scrap last week. Day of the fight came and both clans had amassed about 50 (PD pulled a few more and dropped for us, ty), so we went up to fight at East Light in the event that any crashers decided to turn up to try and ruin our fun. We got to fighting and fought 28 of the 30 minutes of the cap before finally crashers showed up with about 25 to try and put us in ice cubes. Little did they know we were anticipating this and quickly turned it around on them. We got the full clear x2 on them and fell in to say our GFs. But the night was just beginning. We felt like sticking around a little while to see if we could smite any +1s from the lads who only do bring one item. Little did we know it would be our lucky day. Between ROT and VR (and whatever other pure clans they brought with them) they managed to scrap together about 40 good men but it was just no match for our superior gear and skill. Not a single Tempest member died and low and behold, as we were busy farming, an excited newly promoted Marshal @Justyn exclaimed that he had in-fact smited Cyber War for his staff. Not only this, but numerous ROT meds were busy losing their crystal seeds to us as well. Thank you VERY much and remember to click on those super restore potions next time. Was a fun battle and we hope to see everyone out there active in 2022!
  4. TEMPEST VS REVENANT P2P Multi-Spells [one day prep] We asked bad boys @ Rev for a fight yesterday in P2P multi-spells and they agreed, and being in the Christmas spirit, we had quite a few Tempest seamen fully prepared for the battle that lay ahead. It was a competitive fight with both sides pulling 50+ despite the short prep and right as we caught a big chunk of momentum towards the end of the cap, Rot+allies logged in with about 30 in moonclan so we fought back and fully cleared them. We resumed the fight with Rev and as the cap came to a close, decided to stick around to see if we could snag any juicy loot from the would-be crashers post cap. We baited them out to members gate and swiftly cleared their attempted log ins. Trying a new tactic, crashers rushed from Gdz in their moonclan but we pulled a swift hammer and anvil tactic, looping around and shovin it in their hoop from the back. Captured the whole thing in 4k as well. While this was going on, I spied with my little eye a little clan named Taliban Killerz trying to snipe returners through gap. We had no choice but to push through gap and send them all packing as well. Following clearing the whole gosh darn wilderness we said our gf to rev at gap and were about to log when we saw the Taliban Killerz try to creep up once more. Pushed south and stole some of their pixels and ended for the evening. Thanks to all for a great fight.
  5. Original Topic: https://tempest-rs.net/topic/6493-tempests-morning-breakfast-p2p-ss-vs-cl/ Forums: https://tempest-rs.net | Discord: discord.gg/tempest Tempest vs Chivalry Legions Chivalry Legions approached for a P2P Single Spells fight. Given the time zone, we knew it would be interesting for sure. We quickly ate our breakfast and drank some mimosas during mass and set out into the wilderness to see some friendly Kangaroos. Right from the start, we had some great tanks, quick KO's, and a great atmosphere for 6am EST. The fight continued on throughout the cap going 2 for 1, completely untouched from any form of Anti-Tempest. At the end of the 30 minutes, we stopped to shake hands. Thanks for the fight CL. 6. Thank you for bringing light to this important issue, definitely a slight against Dynasty's honour (then again, not surprised...)
  7. https://tempest-rs.net | https://discord.gg/tempy Tempest vs Immortal We had a planned fight vs Immortal, knowing they have recently been doing well Clan Wars and on a 5-0 win streak, we showed up expecting a tough challenge. Rounds 1 and 2 were both close, with us taking the first and them taking the second. With the tie-breaker on the line for round 3, @True 2k8 called his first clan wars round since Tempest opened and we comfortably took the win. Tempest: 45 Immortal: 45 Round 1 Ending: Tempest 45 Immortal 45 Lost 50-45 Tempest 45 Immortal 45 Round 3 Ending:
  8. Any particular reason why the cap is at 50 max? Most of the clans in the main scene will have more than 50 v 50 with anything more than a 1-2 day prep in CWA these days.
  9. Ty for the engagement, this helps with the stats.
  10. Brian has released the clan world discord statistics for March. This month features a surprise clan at #1 messages (or lines) typed in their public discord channels. DF has taken the top spot this month by a slim margin over their closest competition. Always a fun read at the start of the month. Full topic and stats is here - https://tempest-rs.net/topic/3773-clan-world-discord-statistics-march/
  11. With our Friday schedule free we setup a short prep F2P PVP fight against Violent Resolution. It's been a few months since our last clash and we were looking forward to seeing how we matched against them. We quickly massed up our available members and set sail to just west of spiders to begin the clash. Tempest Starting: 33 (60 on TS) Violent Resolution Starting: 33 Both clans started to gain pretty quickly from the start, enjoying a clean, competitive 40v40 for the entire hour. VR showed the strides they're making in F2P and we had strong performances driven by our callers Tim, David, Tika and Dickus. Our KO power and spam increased as the fight went along and we wrapped up the fight after about an hour. Once Hex called, we considered ending. Thanks for the fight VR, always a pleasure. Tempest Ending - 40 Violent Resolution Ending - 40 (h/t Hex)
  12. Tempest vs Wilderland Tempest - the most active clan forums on Runescape. ---- Discord.gg/Tempy It was a sunny spring afternoon and WL were looking for a PVP battle in the deep wild. Knowing that the age of crashing is now behind us, we were eager to accept and get some squeaky clean action in. We massed up 60 Tempest Seamen on a no prep and wandered into the wilderness, whistling as we went. The fight itself was a great time. An hour of uninterrupted fun, with large spam, nice binds, good tanks, and a few 1-tick-KOs too! WL are known to be a strong opponent in the wild but I think we may have edged them a little in performance today -- all the same, it's always a good time fighting our Brazillian buddies. Thanks for the action guys. Same time next week? Also -- huge shoutout to the 20 Tempest who sat out tonight. Tempest - the most active clan forums on Runescape. ---- Discord.gg/Tempy
  13. Tempest vs Ancient Fury Tempest - the most active clan forums on Runescape. ---- Discord.gg/Tempy Out in the open sea, there is always the chance a storm may strike. We know that not every sailor is cut out for the choppy waters. Only the strongest can navigate to the eye of the storm. Ancient Fury approached us for a short prep fight and we agreed on the time and location. We are always confident in providing a strong performance against an organized clan like AF, and today was no different. Ancient Fury beat us fair and square over the weekend and after some spring cleaning, we wanted to prove to ourselves that we could innovate and continue to provide strong competition to the clans around us. We started the fight with a turnout in the 60s, and as the fight progressed, grew in stature as more and more lates trickled in. We dropped a handful towards the end as we grew to over 80 on Teamspeak at the peak. AF put up a good fight despite being down a few people, so wanna thank them for the fun action. Not being a pure box fight made it really entertaining & it was some of the most fun I've had since Tempest opened with both clans moving around the rooftop rather than being pinned to one square. Overall a tremendous job to all the dedicated Tempest who showed up today and executed a stellar performance. Those that are here know what we're about, and go out in every fight willing to lay it on the line for the clan. Happy to be apart of such a strong group. ---- Discord.gg/Tempy
  14. Tempest vs Ancient Fury Tempest - the most active clan forums on Runescape. ---- Discord.gg/Tempy Looking to get some F2P pvp action in this week following our CWA against Revenant on Tuesday, we put together a fight with Ancient Fury on the rooftops of Al Kharid. On the day of the fight, both clans pulled strong, with AF and Tempest each getting 60+ for the start of the scrap. The two clans said their hellos, and the fight began in a giant clump. For about 10 minutes, the fight was hotly contested, with AF showing a strong melee pile and a few good tanks from both sides. At this time, RoT logged in with 10 members & 17 advanced guests, but we were prepared. Knowing we were gaining numbers, and now up to 70+, we made light work of them on each log in. There were a lot of funny moments from the fight today. From catching RoT's regroup world numerous times, to seeing 8 meds trying to get a spam off the screen for a topic picture (it didn't work), and all of Tempest getting free KDR. Thanks to AF for the fun and fair fight, and to RoT for the comedic break!
  15. Tempest -vs- Revenant Tempest - the most active clan forums on Runescape. ---- Discord.gg/Tempy With high opts CWA in vogue, we've been really eager to prove our quality against top opponents in the arena. After a tight win against AF a week and a half ago, we were fully expecting Rev to come with their full might in a knockout fight. We lucked out and the turnout was almost identical from both sides, and once the challenge was made, we entered the portal focused on putting forward our best performance yet. The start was hotly contested with the lead flipping back and forth a few times. We ended up having some great tanks in the middle of the round, while David picked off some piles that were standing right beside us, allowing us to build a slender gap. With a small lead of only two or three, it remained a closely contested battle until the numbers lowered, and we pulled away with Rev leaving CC. This round worked a little more in our favour, with insane tanks from the likes of epa, Honour Clan, Wonder Woman -- including a full map drag from dickballs when it was still close -- we were able to able to chisel away a numbers advantage early on and build the gap for a strong ending number finish. This round started with our buttchecks clenched, as Rev opened up a 4-5 kill advantage early doors. We thought all hope may be lost, but insane calling from David picking off rangers and mages that were standing one or two tiles out of the clump resulted in a lot of 1-ticks mid round. We ended up having two people tank too far north so would like to apologize for that. Regardless, we opened up a gap and managed to win quite comfortably in the end. Thank you to Rev who are the most stern challenge we get to face. Despite what the numbers look like in the screenies, the rounds were extremely competitive. Hope to have more fights like this because they make both sides better.
