I'd be very interested in seeing the return of clans like MM, Malice and Ascendency to spice things up in the top and lower rankings. But they'll never re-open in their old form. People have moved on. The same goes for old ranks and members from Epidemic and NME. Still I'd be every interested how the old ranks and members of those clans would do in this era.
If I'd have to pick one I'd definitely pick MM (Hi Pink ).

This is based on a system that existed Pre-EOC. It was extremely successful, and a lot of fun.
The system would be based on CWA Fullouts, ML Locked, as Quality and Quantity then play a factor, seeing who the overall best clan is.
Clan rankings will be listed from 1-11 or whatever.
Obviously things can be debated/changed, but after seeing some heavy support for a similar system, figured I'd pitch an actual idea. @Lenin
Rules
Fullout Style, Memberlist Capped, Defence capped at 5 (or 13 can debate)
Fights take place on Saturday/Sunday at normal trip times, therefore no one can complain about times.
Best of 2/3 Rounds.
Moving Up
To move up in the ladder, you must declare on the clan one number above you. (i.e. #3 declares on #2).
Declining the declaration will result in an auto win for the challenger, exceptions can be made for events such as Anniversaries/RvB.

Think your clan is better? Prove it with a fullout. Bring back a Pure Clan Ranking System.

The rules have finally been updated and we expect everyone to follow them accordingly. We wish to create a healthy and productive website.
Remember that you cannot blame the community for toxicity if you reflect that behaviour minutes later. If we are to expand, grow and establish ourselves as a professional & dedicated PvP and Clanning community, our behaviour has to mirror that.

I did include those clears in my counting. Also... a clan has all the right to leave after a clear, it's the wilderness. Pure clans generally don't wait for opposing clans to return after a clear, that's usually a thing main clans do (because fights are usually capped). It wasn't a 1 or 2 hour cap or anything. Sure, it would've been more fun if both clans stayed. But then again, Eop didn't bother to return north to continue the fight, instead they tried to claim a win. Atleast Misfits had a legit reason to claim a win and leave (Eop had like 8-13 people in-game and went to regroup at corp vs 25~ MF they left behind).

Goodjob both clans. Shame a couple of IR where there to try and ruin your pkri. I saw you clearing Eop 3 times in your vid, while they only got 2 clears on you. At the end of their vid Eop left the battle around lvl 25 (near single) with like 8-13 people (to your 20+) to regroup at corp where they killed 3-4 MF members who were returning. During that time Eop had gained to 20+ and immediately claimed a win while you guys had already taken your ending north of them (obviously in single, because you were so close to it; any sane leader would do this after clearing a clan and taking a fall in to properly end the fight). If we'd go by RSC rules you won. Eop left the place of the initial fight (to regroup) with much lower opts, only to take an ending somewhere else. Sure Eop can claim that you should've followed them to continue the fight, but we all know that they would've continued for 1-2 more hours, only to gain way more opts and probably beat you in the end (no offense).

While you got some decent clears on Misfits, they also cleared you a couple of times (even made some of your members rag), and they ended much stronger than you. You can even see in their vid that they completely cleared you at CA and corps, then went to edge bank because the fight was over. The banter and 'propaganda' from some individuals on this topic regarding UB and some other clans is horrible.. I've seen bad banter and 'propaganda' since 2007, but damn.. this is much worse. It has hit a new all time low.

EoP vs UB - There doesn't seem to be a rivalry at all. Don't know where you got this from. Both clans don't like each other, but there's no rivalry;  UB vs CD - This is pretty much one sided. Obviously UB;  Foe vs UB - Overall I'd say Foe due to their CW quality (especially high opts) and larger community. In the wildy I'd say UB have been doing better the last few weeks. UB seems to be doing very well with even opts vs Foe in the wildy; PX vs Misfits - PX. They seem to pull more; Fi vs Misfits - Inconclusive, they're trading wins during the week and weekend. Both clans pull similar;  Sup vs IR - I'd say IR; OB vs BV - No clue, I don't follow the clans in this scene. 

Although clan wars is 'safer' I've always preferred the wilderness over it. Why? Because it's more fun in my opinion. Most of the time you don't know who you're going to run in at what location (guess it's different now with every clan having a ton of leaks and spies). The zones aren't limited in the wilderness, and can change at any given time. I just prefer the thrill of the wilderness, the thrill of possibly losing items, the thrill of dealing with one or more rival clans and the thrill of dealing with clans with more opts. There is simply put more diversity in the wilderness. A clan needs to be truly organised in the wilderness to have good weekend trips. But pking/clanning in the wilderness has changed drastically. It's not as fun anymore from what I've experienced due to all the crashing and teleporting.
 
I've never been a fan of P2P clanning, and while I acknowledge that skill plays a very huge part in p2p, I do believe items and money play a big part as well in P2P CW. If you don't have the items or stats you're pretty much going to lose vs a clan that has better averages and gear, even if your clanmembers have decent-good skills. In the wilderness you won't bring your best gear in P2P, making fights more balanced. F2P (cw) is more fun in my opinion, everybody has the same items, so skill and stats play a bigger role in an even opted fight. The basics of F2P are fun due to its simplicity. Sometimes less is more.
