what kinda bs topic is this? if ur proposing a new set of rules at least clarify what the rules are lol. in the original post only change listed is banning surge as nightmare staff and venom are already banned. or are u proposing to ban staff of the dead/light as well? Also no1 has yet given a single argument on how this would " encourage more clans to take up p2p as the tiebreaker fight type" And when you consider the fact that most likely the clans fighting each other in the tiebreaker will be the same as the past couple months this doesn't make any sense at all

I'm not sure how oldschool weapon rules would encourage more clans to pick p2p. I can't think of a situation where a clan thinks they could beat another clan in p2p with oldschool rules, but not max gear. Also as far as I know venom and nightmare staffs are already banned. I wouldn't mind banning fire surge in "normal" preps as well. -
