Another day, another defeat - The very thought burdening the minds of the countless victims whom fell to us this evening during our constant harassment of the wilderness. 

 



 

Quality over Quantity

Having being given little to no time to prepare the clan for what was to be our first official Sunday trip, the overall feeling of it being a resounding success was mutual between ranks and regular members alike. Kicking off the nights events with a satisfactory 62 on our initial fall in, our member count remained consistent throughout and peaked at an applaudable total of 69 Misfits. 

 

Unfortunately, Misfits were not going to accept the award for biggest pull tonight as Doom had surpassed everyone's expectations and by some miracle, had massed a total of 85 Doomed members. Needless to say, this had little effect on what was to be another demoralizing defeat for Doom. Their quantity was simply no match for our quality, a point which has often been brought up following previous engagements with other clans.

 

Surely there can't be more excuses? We expect a valid explanation once their ranks have regained composure and ended their quarrels with one another. 

 



 

Worth a mention?

With the above being said, Doom were not the only clan to fall short in our expectations tonight. Following a somewhat unfortunate defeat in our Prep against Unbreakable earlier in the week, tonight was to be a painful reminder for UB that when it comes down to basic skill and survive-ability, they have nothing on Misfits. 

 

There were of course other clans present tonight, Critical Damage being one of the few who brought something notable to the table, though if being wiped after trying to crash a fight is what they specialize in, then hats off to them..

 



 

Closing Words

This evening was our chance to show outsiders that we simply don't need numbers to claim victory, week in - week out. We were by no means the largest force on the field, however we were by far the greatest. Well done and thank you to everyone who was able to attend tonight.

when I came back to RS last November I met you on TS with some of the ruin guys, you were pretty cool back then but on SB you sound like a bitch.  
Nonetheless props to Doom being the only clan stepping up

I'd love to have a rivalry vs UB! Would be fun but the pulls don't match... UB is definitely best CW matched for the moment, no doubt about that.. we'll be coming to snatch that from them soon though

we have 3 people from Ruin I believe: Woonskep, ir0ny and zquickster. 
95% of our ml are pures that its their first time in a clan. The only person I know from my staff team before Misfits is Woonskep, the rest got recruited and moved up the ranks, so we're not a staff that has been together for years like others. We are learning, we are building and I truly believe that one day we will be able to achieve our long term goals.

last time a clan stayed a fought was doom and they got cleared in .5 even with foe camping us and ub hitting the fight from behind us l0l

You forget that you were a one server clan for over a year.
 
We opened in December and killing it in P2P ATM, we'll eventually venture into F2P but until then we'll keep doing what we're doing.

Seems to be the best clan in the game atm.

I can gladly say that I'm very proud of my clan, starting from scratch with only 6 members 4 months ago, we've got to accomplish 
so much so far and will accomplish much more in the future! 
 
Our intent was to dominate like every other day and that's what we've achieved.
This was a particular trip, because my old friend IanSpam joined us and streamed during the whole duration of the trip, as well other famous RS players came to our trip, Wildependant and Yo Itz Sonny. There was very good input from the RuneScape community on the stream, bringing the spotlight to the pure 
scene, making it grow and showing all of RuneScape that the pure scene is alive more than ever!

Misfits vs Doom x6
We had quite a lot of run-ins with Doom, being the only clan that can compete with the Hornets. We fought them all over the wilderness, ranging from hills to new gate! All of these fights were intense. Misfits got to get the upper hand, being P2P based and having more experienced members. 
As well the fight of the day was near the end of the excursion. Having a 15 minute return fight vs Doom @ GDZ, after clearing the last few Doom members not giving them any breathing time to return, Doom ended their trip leaving Misfits the once again the last clan out.
Misfits first in last out.
 
During these fights we had a few crashers thinking they can be sneaky and got cleared either way! Foe was sniping our returners from GDZ, we got to rush them and end the 10 men trip they had. As well UB hit us from south of new gate, being sandwiched between Doom and UB, we got to push the fight north to Volcano clearing both clans.
 
We had an encounter with almost every clan today, but nobody wanted to play with Misfits so they would teleport or run away!

Switching it to sunday would increase the activity & would be a further step into putting the 30 def era to rest. This is something you guys should want lol.
