There is dedication and honor in many (in Rage) as well as potential (which is most clans really), & maturity can develop. I admit that some members, and even ranks, are immature and aren't serious but I'm willing to try and get them to be.
 
FOE is a clan with much of what I want really, but I woudn't join them. Its because I feel that I can improve people/clans, and my efforts/abilities will be much more suited in a clan which isn't at the level of FOE and similar clans. At the latter, I'd prefer to impact the pure community, and if I joined FOE (just an example) that woudn't happen.
 
I'm happy to be at Rage man, people judge way too much from the external esp. against people such as Control. But I'm sure your opinion would change if you joined and spent some time in Rage (which again, is most clans).

brown sticky stuff happens. We were winning, some members prematurely celebrated and didn't watch their hp. This isn't to do with quality, the fact that this prep was pretty close shows our improvement over the weeks. We'll have more preps soon.

It only works if you are not behind a NAT. Unfortunately majority of the home users generally have a switch or a router to provide a NAT so that multiple devices can have internet connectivity. Any incoming connections would hit these switches/router and in most instances, if there isn't any portforwarding or multicast setup, the switch/router will just simply drop the packets and the software on your computer wouldn't see brown sticky stuff.
 
In dedicated server server environment, you are not behind a NAT. the dedicated server IP(s) is pointed to that hardware, so any packets will be seen by any software installed in that hardware unless you got special config
