Who Are We

 

Misfits is a new P2P/F2P based pure clan that aspires to be a top quality clan. We focus on our community and our member base to build a strong foundation and core. Integrity is a big part of Misfits we make sure that everyone feels welcome and part of the team.

 

 

 

Events

 

In Misfits we have a daily event, whether it's a P2P or F2P trip, prepared clan war fight, fun event (Brid tournament, 1 vs 1 tournament, etc) or clan inners, we maintain a high activity and overall enjoy pure pking.

 

As well we have 2 main events during the weekend, where we have sign ups and most of the clan members show up to: on Saturday it's F2P trip at 13:30PM EST and on Sunday it's P2P trip at 13:30PM EST

 

Staff  

 

The clans staff is small at the moment, we'll promote people overtime, once the member base starts to grow we'll require a larger rank group. At the moment both leaders of Misfits consists of the Ex-Leaders of Control: Woonskep and Zee Kevin. Control was a P2P based clan that was always striving for the best. They've both worked together for a long time in the past and they're confident in the growth of Misfits.

1. You can't make derogatory comments towards Hanu for opening up his own clan in attempts to make it successful. It's actually very difficult to open, lead, and grow a new clan; even more nowadays when the game is 67% less active than when it was when Eruption of Pures was first opened.
 
2. Eruption of Pures isn't successful because of the current leadership, nor most of current "core" group of members. Your clan is successful because of members from pre-eoc who put the blood, sweat, and time into making what EOP is known for today.

3. The 2010 Leadership are the true members who made EOP what it is today: Goop, Solo, Milky, Jonty, Tayyab, Tastemyscim, Max, Cody, Preschool. Please come back to reality, and understand you are all clanning in 2016; it's nothing compared to 2008 - 2011.
 
4. We actually have a 63 ML, and only after being open for 1 month. Also, most of our memberlist consists of people who are over the age of 20, who work and go to school full-time. Not everyone can be active 24/7 to flame on a community based website.
 
Note: You have a 70+ members list, a huge retired memberlist, ex-ranks who get on sometimes, and your clan is over 10 years old. With your logic, shouldn't you be able to pull over 200 people each trip; what's your excuse?
 
5. During the time Hanu was leader of TLP, the clan was doing extremely well. It was only after Hanu was removed from the clan when it was having problems. 
 
6. You can't complain about us using mains / pures, when we are getting hit by some wannabe Valhalla every trip. 
 
Note: What makes it even worse is that you are teaming with this main clan against us, and you also sometimes use mains on your trips for no reason other than to compete with Fatality when they pull over 5 members.

It's kinda ironic that as the game ages and the average age of clanners in this community goes up, the community appears more childish.
 
 
Although I don't like it, I can see why clan's use mains/ddos - to gain an advantage. But what I don't get is why people go around and say cauliflower stuff like "L0l, go die of cancer broccoli!" or just outright flame people, as if it makes a difference to anything. 

The ideal of a more honourable community hangs around but every time anybody attempts to make a difference, those who are incapable of sacrificing their non-honourable tactics will hinder the process. We attempted it with the no mains agreement, and what do you know. With a baby step such as that, all but two clans could make a change yet it all went to custard again. It is possible, however there will always be those few who are afraid to change back to having only pures.
 
Things will turn prosperous/less scummy if everybody takes part/agrees and holds their word, but with how everything is at the moment, it's very unlikely.

Today Final Ownage Elite fought Rage in a first to 100 prep, with fights in the wilderness being infested with a lot more mains than usual today we were approached by Rage for a clean fight in clan wars. After a sluggish start, we began stringing piles to then take the victory.

Members of clans are now around 88 combat, with the few exceptions of Pures (1-5 Defence) who have 99 attack.
 
Weekends:
Weekends consist of "real" action, and not just sitting in a fall in where your leadership says, "No Clan Is Getting Action Right now".
 
Clan Wars Fights: 
 Clan Wars fights now consist of various fighting styles, Game-types, and competitive ladder board that is now "fair" for all clans
 
Community Website 
Where you can post, debate, and even flame with people around the pure community. However, doing so on real forum accounts so you always know you are speaking with.
 
Clan Leaders / Development of UPN (United Pure Nations)
Clan leaders worked together to uphold a "Clan Bible" that puts strict rules on running their clans, to help the pure community stay prosperous.

In every era of pure clanning there has always been a clan(s) or a group of leaders who set the standards of how the pure community should be. However, if nobody steps up to enforce these standards, chaos breaks out just like in real life when a government loses control of their country.  I myself back in my prime hated the pure community "rules" because I believed they took the fun out of the game, and restricted you from having the best possible Player Killing Account. However, now I understand why leaders like 13th (MM), Old/Goop (EOP), James / Charles (Fi), Dave / Walli (FOE), Drunk (CP), Cory (TLP) and other forgotten leaders from past clans who tried their best to enforce some type of rules.

Proposal
 
Prosperity: I believe that the only way we can fully prosper as a community, is to go back to our true roots with our accounts. The development of turmoil pre-eoc changed pure clanning for the better in my opinion, but without it in osrs, it has only brought on the development of Pure Cancer in the community. Clans encouraging high combat accounts and high defence levels, drastically hurts the pure community, and the overall pure clanning structure that was once extremely fun. Basically, without being "real pures", we take the fun out of pure clanning. Also, due to everyone being such high combat, we are basically encouraging mains to be at our fights.
 
Ask yourselves: How many of you actually play on your "pure" accounts, other than for clan events? Not having the drive to play on your accounts, drastically weakens the pure community not only in a clanning aspect, but in Bounty Hunter, Player vs Player, and for growing the pure community in general.
 
LPC, MPC, HPC: Personally, I believe the reason why these sub-classes developed was because of the unhappiness within the pure clanning structure. Majority of the pure community wants to fight "real pures", with real action, and without the interference of main accounts. I see now, that the development of LPC & MPC was a basically a cry-out for change within the pure community.
 
Change: After reading @Hormone 's topic on doom forums Click Here, I believe every clan should start from scratch to bring on real change for the pure community (Max 88 Combat, 1-5 Defence). Once we go back to our roots of pure clanning, we can then start the discussions on how to structure it even further (as stated above).
 
Make the change, restart the pure community, and bring back what many people in the pure community have never fully experienced. MAKE THE PURE COMMUNITY GREAT AGAIN!

Pure Community Standard 
 
In every era of pure clanning there has always been a clan(s) or a group of leaders who set the standards of how the pure community should be. However, if nobody steps up to enforce these standards, chaos breaks out just like in real life when a government loses control of their country.  I myself back in my prime hated the pure community "rules" because I believed they took the fun out of the game, and restricted you from having the best possible Player Killing Account. However, now I understand why leaders like 13th (MM), Old/Goop (EOP), James / Charles (Fi), Dave / Walli (FOE), Drunk (CP), Cory (TLP) and other forgotten leaders from past clans who tried their best to enforce some type of rules.

Proposal
 
Prosperity: I believe that the only way we can fully prosper as a community, is to go back to our true roots with our accounts. The development of turmoil pre-eoc changed pure clanning for the better in my opinion, but without it in osrs, it has only brought on the development of Pure Cancer in the community. Clans encouraging high combat accounts and high defence levels, drastically hurts the pure community, and the overall pure clanning structure that was once extremely fun. Basically, without being "real pures", we take the fun out of pure clanning. Also, due to everyone being such high combat, we are basically encouraging mains to be at our fights.
 
Ask yourselves: How many of you actually play on your "pure" accounts, other than for clan events? Not having the drive to play on your accounts, drastically weakens the pure community not only in a clanning aspect, but in Bounty Hunter, Player vs Player, and for growing the pure community in general.
 
LPC, MPC, HPC: Personally, I believe the reason why these sub-classes developed was because of the unhappiness within the pure clanning structure. Majority of the pure community wants to fight "real pures", with real action, and without the interference of main accounts. I see now, that the development of LPC & MPC was a basically a cry-out for change within the pure community.
 
Change: After reading @Hormone 's topic on doom forums Click Here, I believe every clan should start from scratch to bring on real change for the pure community (Max 88 Combat, 1-5 Defence). Once we go back to our roots of pure clanning, we can then start the discussions on how to structure it even further (as stated above).
 
Make the change, restart the pure community, and bring back what many people in the pure community have never fully experienced. MAKE THE PURE COMMUNITY GREAT AGAIN!
