Without names I'd say there were a few clans in the late 2000s early 2010s that started brining mains dressed as pures when struggling to compete. They saw this as a way to become "good at matched opts" in the wildy. That digressed into not even dressing as pures anymore and just sniping ranks using tanks which has lead to people not caring anymore because dying to a main is bull brown sticky stuff.
