When Game Over first debuted at the beginning of 2017, all eyes were on what the community thought was another remake that wouldn't last more than a few minis. Game Overquickly began to prove that they were a force to be reckoned with going 28-0 before losing a miniwar, going undefeated for the entirety of January 2017. In due time, some beef with several members of Circlejerk propelled the team into a rivalry. From the statistics and record, Game Over looked to be in a position to clear sweep Circlejerk in a game of sets. Single members of Game Over were going to minis with their clans and other clans against Circlejerk and giving them losses in the weeks leading up to and after the GO vs CJ sets. Despite all this, Game Over would lose their first set against Circlejerk 2-0 with a perfection being handed to them. None of the officials of the team were present at that miniwar, leading to the second round of sets between GO and CJ. GO would 2-0 CJ in the first set with a perfection in a swift manner, and even go up 1 round in the second set perfecting them again before losing their attacking and PKRI rounds to tie the day up in sets. CJ would win the first round of the third set. In the second round, GO managed again to perfect CJ one more time and move onto the PKRI where they would defeat CJ in sets for the day bringing the score in sets to 2-2. Fast forward a few weeks of inactivity and sporadic minis as Game Over, a 5th and final set would happen between the two teams. Game Over perfected Circlejerk in round 1. In round 2, GO's first pile dropped too quickly and gave CJ an early lead. This round came to a 2v2, but out of restores and food, GO couldn't cinch the win, and would eventually lose the PKRI as well. After this, tension from inside the team and morale about general activity and operation of the team led to the people in charge splitting up and giving up on the team. Despite the wins in sets, which team is the "better" team has always been up in the air. Circlejerk may not have as clean of a record as Game Over had however did end up beating them in sets. In rebuttal, 4 out of the 6 rounds Game Over would win against Circlejerk resulted in perfections. At the end of the day, who was truly better ultimately comes down to pure opinion and usually bias.
