Apex Vs. FOE F2P Prep Dispute by EOP.

If signicant evidence rises that a prep was handed over to an 'ally' clan, its an automatic DQ for the entire month - due to attempting to cheat the system (which is in the new COTM revision). Attempting to cheat against a clan is another story though. Just like breaking a combat or defence cap, we need the victim clan to dispute - either at or after the prep (based on when the evidence is found).

So let's say clan A is competing with clan B for cotm but then clan A preps clan C and breaks a rule that helps them win the prep but clan C doesn't dispute because they're allies with clan A so clan A ends up being ahead of clan B for cotm. How is that fair? Let's say clan A breaks the defence cap by bringing a lvl 126 main to fight against pures but clan C doesn't dispute, would clan A still get the points towards cotm? Interesting...

the same ones who sandbag / leak first piles hmmm

You can't get caught leaking first piles but you can get caught bringing a cape switch to sabotage your clan. For example, the opposing clan will have video/pictures to prove who is cape switching duh.

If you could provide the evidence that this prep was thrown or a dispute was not done on purpose to allow a ally to win you are welcome to provide counter evidence for it which would DQ both of them.

seems like a terrible precedent to set. Why not void points for clans that break rules regardless if the other clan wants a redo or not?

We cant ignore the decisions of clan ranks. You might like to win a DQ prep but others might not be willing. You have to respect that.

Then at least honor the rules that other clans abide with by making the prep not count towards cotm

Sounds like it's more about wondering why such a "superior legacy clan" like fo would be so unsettled by apex in f2p that they had to pull dirty tactics.

yeah im sure they're terrified of his scim pushes at 16v16 with 0% run like he did vs cp l000l

When was the last time EOP beat CP in a prep btw?

Isn't waiting for something to go wrong rather than solving it a terrible precedent? Wouldn't you rather set a rule in stone so there's 0 tolerance for any rule breaking in future preps, regardless of a dispute asked for or not? You're just setting yourself and the sharkbrew staff up for major headaches and signs of further incompetence for future cases.

This is already going to be brought up when we revise the system entirely already.
