They would usually end up massing bunch of people, those people would eventually becoe more interested. Then the teams/clan built on upon them or they dissolved dispersing all their recruits into the clanning world. Whereas some more ambitious members of that dissolved clan/team opened a new one. The cycle repeated. It is a cycle that was broken with coming of eoc and OSRS, especially when OSRS became only p2p. Very few want to stay below cb69 pure.
