Sharkbrew Cup (?)

@@tesco honestly all we need is someone with more than half a brain and the tourny would go well.

Poor choice in hosts by the sharkbrew staff for this one, a waste of a good idea

And the general bias against specific clans shows how incapable he is at hosting these events.

to be fair @@Murd it's a community event and you don't have to enter if you dont want to + therefore anyone in the community can run these, even you or any eop member if you wanted ^_^

it seems that nobody actually knows how to run a simple fucking tournament judging by Slushpuppy's idea of the 50v50's. The seeds were drawn for CP vs FOE and EOP vs TLP yet slush wishes to dictate the matches be FOE vs TLP and EOP vs CP - what is the point of random seeding if you are going to dictate the matches?

No excuse for not knowing English considering Imperial Britain had subjugated your ancestors for good part of 150 years.

Also for the rest of the comments condemning Andre', this is basically the first sharkbrew event that spans over 2 months providing clans with activity, there will be some teething issues as a result, hence it will be much easier if ranks actually worked with him instead of coming up with thousand and one reason why their clans can't even pull or fight a simple 10v10

Lastly, especially for some of Respecteds who are commenting on this thread, if I recalled correctly, none of you wanted to take up the task for running sharkbrew events, yet when someone takes up the mantle, you jump on the public bandwagon of shaming him without approaching him in private or in rank boards.

Disgusting behavior.

- No default times or dates were set if the matches didn't happen before the time period in which all clans had to complete their minis.
- "if eop was in this position he wouldn't be open to fighting it right now, he'd straight up DQ them due to EOP "not showing respect to him".
- what is the point of random seeding if you are going to dictate the matches?
- Another point would be BW are allowed to multi-clan with RD but when it comes to Panda, they weren't allowed to fight for both TLP and Panda. bias again.

Agree that there should have been more time to organize it. Perhaps a third party to organize the time between the two clans rather then them sorting it out themselves? Clans can bring up too many excuses that they tried to setup the event but in reality they were ignoring all forms of communication.

I'm not sure how the seeding worked. With Challonge I'm pretty sure it would randomly add the clans into the bracket. Few fuck ups there, especially with the fullout bracket. That should have been a round robin, especially considering only 3 clans entered.

Locked down member lists for the minis would have been a good idea as well. 10 members + 2-5 substitutes.

We can sit an argue about the fine details all day. You're right, the cup wasn't run perfectly. However a lot of these problems are hard to foresee. Giving these events a shot and finding out what went wrong allows us to setup the event better next time around and ensure that these issues are addressed.

Hindsight is 20/20.

The host of events should be showing professionalism and not bias. Being a part of one of the competing clans, the treatment received from the host and explanations for the selectivity of pools and rules (excessive byes/straight finals for specific clans/exceptions and minimal clarity to rules) has been crude and unprofessional.

If people are to be happy with the running of the tournament, the runner of the tournament shouldn't be hostile/show bias towards the people competing.

The whole concept of the tournament is great, but the execution has been piss poor and it's only been the 10v10s so far lol. The condemning of Andre is justified, and not disgusting behaviour. The tournament is for the community, not Andre.

Edit: andre has been approached by people who have concerns about how poorly things have been run, either 'trolls' (foe being given automatic running to finals due to winning the jcup) or unfair ultimatums are handed back.

How fair is being ignored for 2 days while trying to mini their opponent, and then being forced out of the blue to mini in a couple minutes or be dq'd?

i literally suggested he make the damn fullouts round robin style since there are only 3 participants l0l and that would yield a more accurate result for a winner but he didn't pay attention to that

Wheres my callout?

looks like u passed his test bro

A rank like yourself should be providing solutions and acting on said solution, not troll bashing people.

Want to show professionalism? Start with yourself respecting fellow rank members and helping to solve problems instead of publicly lynching him.

lmfao pls go back and read his posts and than tell me we didn't approach him properly. You only defend him because he's giving your site publicity and he's paying for the winners GFX.

When you signup as a MPC and request not to face mayhem due multi clanners this autistic child still manages to do it while being in the MPC and than use as argument "didn't read" because he gets called out on his lack of braincells. Same counts for TLP vs Ruin no thoughts to play MPC's vs eachother instead of their multi clanning HPC's?

Why would you give FoE a free ticket to the finals in the fullout? He didn't use a random generator he just picked them?

You could of done BO3 and the highest overall round score goes to the final and the others fight again for a tie breaker.

You could of even done highest opts remaining goes to the finals but no this autistic monkey picks foe.

All the feedback he got he did nothing with, because he's a dumb mentally challenged monkey and got kicked from his previous clans for that.

All I see in this topic are people being racist and brown sticky stuff. if you want to get things sorted, then I suggest you don't insult people.

@@Andre ^^ address those issues

You would assume that after being provided solutions that they would be taken in. Unfortunately, they weren't. It seems the only way to get the attention of sharkbrew staff/those organising events is to publicly damage their ego (because apparently that's all they care about).

I'll respect fellow rank members if they respect the problems addressed. Seeing as they chose to disrespect people who explain the problems with their systems, no respect is earned. It's a two-way stream pal, not to mention that the organisors of events generally have a higher expectation to show professionalism than those who find issues with them.
