Honestly, pretty disgusting.

It's the good old banter where people said slushpuppy has made SB to only profit from but it's the complete opposite whereas RSWF's intentions are clear. Slushpuppy's hosting of sites, hooks and overall influence on clans has helped the community and many clans to have an opportunity to open. This website has yet to create or improve our community and realistically should give up by now, they have literally pissed their money away on a website that will never be successful. In the few months they've been live, they've managed to create a system that Sharkbrew implemented many years ago.

tbh if u put this many time into keeping a forum up, running and do updates etc you should not be doing it for free lmfao

If you made it for free, then that is what it is truly worth because.. looking at just the markup alone, it looked like someone punched in a bunch of values into dreamweaver and click "generate".

  • Mixing XML/HTML declaration tags
  • Usage of non mnemonics variable names
  • Using .html suffix to denote a dynamically generated page
  • Dynamically outputting the variables instead of using the full utilization the of PrimeFaces library
  • no sanitation of clan names.

If you were smart, u should have hacked the existing clan wars tournament app for 4.1, at least there is some semblance of integration instead of running 2 separate webserver with contrasting requirements on 1 server.

What are you trying to prove with that picture?

Mixing xml/html? I will just stop arguing with you about this because you make no sense, you clearly dont know much about java web development.

I would rather not touch any crap ipb plugins anyways.

I write my own filtering rules based on learning behavior for Layer 7 http attacks tailored for IPB forums since almost no hosts out under $1k do that for you. Want proof of its reliability? Go ask the clans i hosted during the height of their rivalries with SV(CD), Rage, Doom, EOP, .

Why the fuck do you have an XML declaration at the top for a HTML document?

Why the fuck do you even need an id setting for Head

It's clear that you have no idea what you were doing when you generated those docs, hence the reason why you think i am making no "sense".

If the end result is going to be brown sticky stuff anyway, why waste 2 months creating brown sticky stuff from scratch

Its more like a donation and one time only.

You cant call this "making money off", you cant compare it with what Slush is doing. I am offering a product for a one time fee versus he is offering a service for a monthly fee. If he was nice he could do that free since its literally zero effort for him.

Its not truly a pro version, since most of the more valuable features are free, I am just offering some extra for the donators.

Look around in the world, there arent many people using this payment model (one time vs subscribing). If I wanted to make a living off this I would do it differently.

It's not a donation when they're giving it for the client... It's a purchase.

You purchase items from a shop.

A shop is a business.

You make money from it, even if you don't advertise it. You don't give it for free.

One-time payment for an item,

Monthly payment for rent service...

He's not selling he's renting. Even if he does rent it from another person 1st, he still rents it out.

Please stop, you make yourself look super cauliflower for a person that knows some computer/programming stuff.  :D

The app was made in Java Server Faces. It uses xhtml templates, the first line is a marker for the template, it stays in the generated code. The id field is generated too.

Maybe you should take some courses, learn new technologies instead of hacking in html/php, that crap is for legacy projects.

Wrong wrong wrong wrong. Mixing XML tags & HTML tags does not fucking make it XHTML.

<?xml is the Opening tag for XML markup documents

<!DOCTYPE ENTITY_TYPE* > is the correct opening tag for defining either XHTML or HTML doc.

The fact that the browser highlighted your first line should been an indication that it is wrong, but you decide to try to "correct" me anyway...

Stop being an arrogant twat and read the bloody RFC instead of relying on your IDE to spoonfeed you codes.

https://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/dtds.html#a_dtd_XHTML-1.0-Strict

https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc2629

Fix your foundations before moving on to "hypster" technology

This is going really off topic but you cant outlast me.

You are trying to be a smartass for arguing over a line that I never wrote. It was generated with Eclipse.

First of all you are wrong, <?xml and <!DOCTYPE arent tags, they are declarations. Tags have a starting and ending.

I will "correct" you, I looked up this double declaration problem and its not wrong. Its not necessary, but its not wrong.

You should spend more time on making sure your argument is correct so you dont look dumb on your own forums.

The awkward part that could be said about RSW when first starting up. They accused Slushpuppy supposedly making $500 off this site when speaking to clan leaders.

Didn't u leave SB for RSW rofl awkward!!!!

Btw how do you know how much he makes, he already proved to be full of brown sticky stuff.

It probably makes a point on how I may be qualified to denounce some subjects between both websites. He's shown the community a few months back.

Shown what rofl?

This entire topic is about "profit making" but there's no proof of any profit being made rofl? In the post made by Kevin it said nothing about using ads in the future to fund the community.

They have paid for a forum Skin/Logo which isn't exactly "cheap" for the average runescape player. They also bought graphics for the awards.

This entire topic is just a absolute joke, since slushpuppy has ads and allows people to buy VIP and he never paid anything for his graphics, "I advertised the artist".

You also can't look away from the extremely justin beiber topic he made regarding RSW leaking IP while we all know he's been DDoSing for EoP and leaking IP's for ages.
