Pure clanning dying/growing

  1. 1. How has Pure Clanning progressed since beginning of this year?

    • The scene has grown/improved since the beginning of this year
    • Things are still dying/getting worse

I see more clans closing then opening. In my opinion its still dying and I dont really enjoy the official weekend fights since there is too many clans in one scene which is just one big crashfest where noone wins/loses. The midweeks are decent tho.

Things have been doing well,

Foe is on the Bring of closure,

EoP is dominating the LPC scene

UB is slumping pretty hard after losing a rivalry to CD

Fatality is pretty much non existant

Misfits is still hella active in midweeks and wilderness (Good job boys)

No other clans worth mentioning.

I never said they were the most dominant clan ever, though we are.

I stated that we are dominating the LPC scene, which is 100% true. Maybe you're upset that your clan is slumping while we're all eating a 5 star meal?

The state of the community has increased significantly post HPC. There are still cancerous regimes in place who care more about their narrow views than the community as a whole, but that is more or less unavoidable. We are now at a cross roads where everyone 's 1 def pures are beyond maxed so people are getting bored and training attack/prayer at a higher clip. The voices have begun to both whisper and yell for 20+ defense. I believe it is of unparalleled importance that we shun these voices or we will effectively kill our community. It is absurdly hard to bring in 1 def edge pures to a 39 def scene. Runescape as a whole has seen some life support in the form of jagex making mostly competent decisions for the first time in a long while. It makes the most sense for us as a community to keep the mith, addy and rune (SMH) away and promote our fights to as wide an audience as we can. Most people would love the competitive aspects of our unique pure scene if only they knew it existed and if we could curve some of the most cancerous individuals among us.

The individual skill level is miles ahead of previous eras and for most of the summer almost every clan was capable of pulling 45+ at some points. There was one sunday this summer where EOP, FOE, UB, Apex, IR, MF, FI, and SUP ALL pulled between 45-65. Clans like IR, PX, MF and even SF have done a solid job at adding a couple 100+ new pures to the scene that had never clanned before. The more new blood and less recycling of members we as a community can bring in, the better.
