Wilderness shows who can dominate the scene with the highest pulls on trips and victories of possible cluster fights. (Quantity matters on the most part) Clan wars gives clans who don't pull as high or top tier clans a chance to prove who has the best quality members in a clean, matched 1v1 fight. It's just different things all which contribute to who can claim the title of #1 overall. #1 F2P Wildy #1 P2P Wildy #1 F2P CLW Matched #1 P2P CLW Matched The #1 clan has all of the above titles or the most of them. I've had more fun pking with AAO in f2p wilderness as of late than any training/clw event can possibly provide. Wilderness has always been the original form of PvP in RS, and people who simulate it for maxed gear maxed stats but without risk are merely memorizing clicks and DD locations, not actually rolling out together with similar combats and having a blast battling. Clan Wars is for practice, although clans should be getting better @ it so that their warrers have better fundamentals, it honestly means nothing because it is such a monotonous repeat of the same (tactics, movements, clicks, etc).
