Topic created by the leader @Miltz. So tonight was fun. We started off out PK trip and after a few kills at corp we decided we were going to hit druids... Inevitably Rev logged in. This is where it began. The fight lasted 2 hours and 58 minutes. We fought at corp for around an hour, pures hit us and we decided to push north and team them. Rev went slightly further north and logged and we stayed and cleared them in about 15 seconds. From there we ran and logged into Rev's world at boneyard. We then fought south of bone yard for another 90 minutes. We nearly cleared Rev (them having 2/3 people left) twice, and they without a doubt did the same to us at certain points. Mains came from somewhere (I was returning, shock) so we pushed it south of corp, we ended up at level 12/13 wild and this is where it happened. After 3 hours, our members were still returning in new force, our newest applicants, some who were accepted only today were still returning in full gear. We pushed north as the combat level was too great, they didn't follow. We began to run south to find them, to run into about three of them tele'ing out, Rev cleared. We know they might post pictures of them saying 'veng cleared' earlier in the fight when we decided to move location, but at the end of the fight we were still there, they were not. Actually, check this out, is that Rev tele'ing out? PsPs When a leader ends up yelling/flaming/kicking his clan members during a fight that's when you know he's broken. PsPsPs You're broken. INTRO So about 11:30PM GMT Bemb hit me up saying he had a 'singles team' called Team Terr0r (TT) talking to him all day saying they fancied an easy fight... So naturally we got a squad together: Miltz, Veng Speeeed, Under constr, Veng Russ, Mitzz, -CarnivoR, Ajax992, 5c4rf4c3, Roffa, Bemb, Don (Veng Russ swapped out for Don) EVENT AFTERMATH We headed up to New Gate to fight and after a long wait they turned up. We started a little slow but got into our stride quickly and cleared them within about 4 minutes. SV decided to crash the party and TT said we called them LOL. So we asked if they wanted to take it to clan wars or Al Kharid w325 and they chose the sand. After A LOT of flaming they turned up to be cleared within about 5 minutes, half of them (including their leader) returned in one item gear for about 15 minutes. I think we had three deaths throughout both fights? I'd love to say it was a GF, but honestly with the amount of unnecessary (and clearly unjustified) flaming from them, I'm not going too. We're finally stabilizing with a decent amount of core members as we've focussed on other (more important) aspects in the previous months. We pulled a tasty 23 in the TS and so we started our trip clearing corp/easts. Within 2 minutes of getting to Corp we found Rev. Now regardless of what they say they were undoubtedly on the losing end of that clash, although we didn't get to finish because as per FOE had to join the party. After some talking with Rev, we decided to fight in a PVP world with some interesting rules: 1. Single Spells only 2. Uncapped The rules were good and by and large were held by both teams, some messages went back between the ranks on IRC when we noticed people breaking the rules and it was quickly stopped. Respect on that front Rev. As the fight progressed Vengeance immediately began to take the upper hand. I'd like to take the opportunity to call BS on what Rev said in their topic, 25 op's peaking at 30? Try 20 peaking at 24, meaning we had exactly the same Op's as Rev. Anyway, see for yourself when our video uploads, purple dots (or white dots for their videos) dominated the fight early on. All Vengeance members returned quickly and in the correct gear. I'd like to make a shout out to @ who put an exceptional magic shift in. The fight moved from Vengeance on top, then Revenant on top, then Veng frequently. Revenant are a good outfit and showed it towards the latter stages of the fight, they had their core returning quickly and got kills when they shouldn't of had a chance. About an hour into the fight Vengeance began to take a hold on the fight Rev numbers were dwindling. At that point (with about 10 ops left at the fight) they began to spam 'it's over', take that how you will. The fight continued regardless and it was then we surprisingly saw an influx in one itemers. After 40 minutes of tanking 1 itemers Vengeance numbers dropped and we decided we weren't there to tank crystal bows, so called GF. This is where it gets messy: I can guarantee we didn't call any raggers, and in my footage of the fight its very obvious that the 1 itemers were focussing Vengeance members. It is what it is, fights like this are never decisive, but up until those 1 itemers attended the fight Vengeance were way out in front. Regardless of the 'we won, no we won, no you brought raggers' debate, I loved the fight and can speak for every Veng member when I say we love the competition. Vengeance, Im extremely proud of every member that put a shift in tonight. I could go into detail but its 03:00am and I still have to edit the video. I made my views clear in TS and if we keep performing and growing like this, there will be no stopping us. You're 100% right. In past couple of years I've always hoped that Pure Clans (regardless of them being rivals or not) would stick together against any clan that doesn't meet the pure standards (ex. mains, mids, zerks, tanks). It's one of the many reasons why I left the pure scene a couple of months ago.
