Separate trip times should have never been a thing in the first place. Look at the people that made the times for that separate scene. People that had FAILED miserably leading multiple clans in the past (wont name any) The only way they could succeed was to rank somebody from an HPC and get quality members that way along with separate PK trip times (Borrowing/Sharing) Anyways level 80-90s (Majority 85-89s) should be fair game for the current HPCs to hit if they wanted to. I wouldn't see a problem with that. You're an official pure clan and have to fight other more successful ones if u want to get any better. Don't limit yourself from getting better because you want to claim to be the best 90- pure clan (with HPC clans/influence carrying you)

Because you bring up 2014, let's please not forget you could only compete with Fi and EOP who were both pulling 40 by having ZU lpc invites. Once the 3 of us switched to LPC times your pulls dropped to 20 and stayed 20 till shortly before we closed in 2015. Who are you trying to fool lol..

Elite is the stepping stone before becoming a rank, a lot of clans have always used this as a rank.

cp beat foe in a "3 day notice" fullout. they pulled like 90+ and foe pulled like 60 lmao. the only 100 vs 100+ f2p fullout foe ever loss to was vs MM

if their goal is to be a lpc (lmfao), let them do that, it's been a year and clearly they're scared of whatever
 
you can throw the argument of "it's little fish with big fish", but will it really? most people in these lower division clans are in hpc clans that do nothing but BOOST the hpc clan pulls. if it were to happen, it would literally even out everything, which would be more beneficial for the community.

Unlike a lot of the other ones, it wasn't one sided (Well maybe in preps lol) and lasted a couple months... It was also for #1 which makes it more impressive
 
Was one of the better OSRS rivalries so far

So fight in fog/ca/bandits. The wilderness does its job as far as separating clans and levels by itself.  
TLP probably has the most 30 def and it's not alot. One or two in FOE and SUP, none in FI, maybe a handful in RD. CP manages to not be a factor enough that you don't have to worry about what they do.
 
Most of us will be occupied with fighting each other. Unless an actual fight is coordinated nobody wants to be the HPC that stalks LPC's.
 
Clusters happen and those are fun for everyone. Otherwise play it by ear and the wild levels and come out at the same time; the more activity the better

PCT is probably the most successful event to date, but when talking about community events the only three realistic contenders are the aforementioned PCT, Red vs Blue, and although not an 'event' per se it spawned multiple excellent events; the RAW list.
 
PCT was great because it had pre defined rules that actually made sense and went off pretty much without a hitch, and had all the clans involved in it to some degree which made it feel like an authentic competition capable of deciding which clans were the best in all the various categories.
 
The Red Vs Blues have become progressively worse events since the first one years and years ago, but that still doesn't detract from that first event which really was a success for the pure community in the amount of hype it generated for all clans involved. The actual event, which was at that point the biggest fight in the pure community, was also alot of fun from what I remember.
 
The RAW list was good at the time and created multiple memorable full outs, its a shame that it became a complete mess towards the end. Regardless, the stuff that it did achieve means it was definitely an important 'event' in the history of the pure community.

No one closed anyone. DUVAL just couldn't hang. I heard CH had some decent clan members but overall leadership wasn't the best. Passionate for the work but overall it takes more then that.

Much more potential from a competitive point in F2P... I hope FOE do well and maintain #1 - But I hope they do so in getting competition from Fatality and maybe even a clan like Redemption. Means a lot more when you aren't out pulling clans every time by a good amount and have to resort to crashing everything
 
Clan like CP can also "surprise" and get their pulls up there during summer to compete with FOE in F2P... they've historically relied on massing and/or invites to do so, I don't see them as a serious long term threat

They didn't have a choice once EoP/Fatality decided to schedule their trip times 2 hours later... if Redemption, Control, Hazard, etc. had stayed open, it's safe to assume Sup/Zu/Lt/Conviction etc. would've stayed going out at separate times for much longer.
 
Prepping some HPC clans to see where you stand is a good start... I think right now Olympus is in a weird position where they out level most LPC clans but would be heavily out leveled by most of the HPC clans - I could be wrong, I'm just going by what I read on these boards and this topic
 
If they're serious about moving up they'd obviously have to train a lot... Expecting to transition from fighting Cd/Imperial/Aao to fighting Foe/Fatality right from the beginning is not going to happen like @@Eeekaj said.. Start fighting the clans near the bottom (Zu, Lt or whoever) and work your way up from there.
 
The one thing Supremacy/Zu/Lt DID do was be forced to level up, same will happen for Olympus if they decided to go out with 'HPCs'

ITT: Everyone thinks their clans had the best unit when in reality no-one remembers or cares.

TLP aren't the most consistent clan and perform rather average in F2P. Fi's performance on the other hand is debatable.. Given the right leaders/members they can be a powerhouse but as of recent days, they are far from it. Also made mistakes in their last fullout so perhaps the odds aren't in their favor.
 
Supremacy's former Hi members may pull through, having past experience in 2v2's. Rd on the other hand have a bad, recurring history of losing to clans down 20-30 (Sv, Fi, EoP & Foe) - although, those losses involved numbers outside of their 'core' 60 members so they could be a good combination with Sup.
 
 
A smart, safe bet would be Fi & TLP but I'd be putting mine on Rd & Sup.

Supremacy made EOP suffer their last prep loss and EOP's final fight was slammed by Supremacy (we slammed the racist Quode and put traitor Pins in his place with a swift scim push to lumbridge).
