The annoying bit is that the DDOS attack isn't particularly huge but my anal host(OVH)'s professional ddos mitigation is like "omg must block ips" so they ended up blocking 3/4 of all the legit users even inspite of the fact that my server's 1 gig pipe can easily soak up the attacks.
