in late 2015-mid 2016 no amount of moderation could prevent the amount of people who wanted to act retarded from doing so. turned a lot of people off of wanting to have any kind of discussion when the thread audience were people who had no intent of conversing with you. while the spamming has died down, the intent to discuss has not returned. leaderships without respect for other leaderships will continue to foster this toxic indifference.

admittedly i was in for a bit of a surprise when I started clanning 3 years ago to discover that I was still among the higher bracket age wise for the active pure community. it's no stretch of my imagination to believe that 3 years later having dealt with my myriad of past and ongoing problems that anyone in clanning is not so different that there are unresolvable differences. we are almost all kids. many of us are learning how to initially deal with life on our own or out of our immediate family observation which has guided many for so long. early 20's is not fun. it's an awkward growing experience and lashing out at ideas and names across the internet is easy to do when they are an escape from whatever is going on beyond the screen. growing pains. perhaps more decent people should be in charge. or rather the realization that our tiny community has not grown in the span of 12k concurrent players vs the near 90k concurrent now. we could do better.

it is not the websites responsibility to ensure that you know how to behave like a decent human being on the internet.

I'm going to ignore the comments about f2p and focus on the 22-1 side of things. Without discrediting the amount of work Apex as a collective have put into their p2p game, I have considered the past year of prepping to be some of the weakest in terms of skill level in my time playing. FOE have been bad at p2p for about a year, FI/IR/SUP's historical weirdness about preps, eop never being a clw capable clan....Apex was and is the clan willing to go the distance(in p2p clw at least), and while I respect that there have been no clans actively trying to put the work in to improve themselves.

Apex have and have had the tenacity to grind, grind, and grind to get where they are. Just about every clan watched Rage do the same thing in F2P around a year ago and sat about with their dicks in hand about it, history repeats itself. As for the lack of preps they've got there's nobody to point the finger at but the incompetence of other clans ranks. It's a deserved title, the lack of action is not.
